Hi P.R. and Po! You both did an awesome job on the live video! I loved every topic, especially the fact that most women, regardless of their ethnicity, have difficulty with their hair. As a matter of fact, that was the point of Dr. Cornwell's book, "That Hair Thing. P.R., I'm so glad you're back but most of all, I'm glad everything is well with you.
So good to see you back! And I appreciate the cross-cultural conversation. As a woman who exudes such beauty, elegance, maturity, and sincerity, you and your message are strategically positioned to influence so many. The conditions are ripe for a powerful business model. Whatever path you choose, I look forward to celebrating your shine! 💎
Yayyyyyy, I’m so happy to see you are well, and I’m on this Sisterlocks journey because of you. Just like you I was a people pleaser and I lost my love for hair as a cosmetologist . Thank You for you honesty, I have not regained my full passion but I can feel the passion beginning to brew again. 😘😘😘
Welcome back. Thank you for sharing. You’re videos have been awesome on my own Sisterlocks journey. I still like wear wigs to have different looks but I also love wearing your locs out too. I will never get a perm again.
Gurrrrrrl. Isn't that amazing how our perspectives have changed about relaxers. LOL love it love it. We have fallen in love with our hair texture. Thanks for sharing as well. 🙂
I have been locked since 2010 and was by no means watching UA-cam, so I wasn’t aware of your channel. I just found you last year and watched all of your videos then noticed you were gone. Not only am I glad that you’re back, I’m glad that you made this video - I can relate to so much of it and am looking forward to hearing more from you! So much of our journey is about really BECOMING who we are meant to be in this world, and it starts with being comfortable in our own skin and knowing that we are MORE than enough! Blessings to you, my sister, and welcome back!
Wow. So thankful you are in a peaceful space. I didn’t realize your struggle when we spoke briefly over the phone while you were traveling in Atlanta with a friend over a year ago. I was willing and prepared to travel from my home in Mississippi to consult with you regarding my Sisterlocks simply because of your energy. Blessings and healing to you and this next journey of which you are embarking. My prayers are with you always!
Hello, Queen!! Welcome back it’s been a minute..glad to see you’re doing well and your channel gave me so much positivity in the beginning of my loc journey.
It is an emotional journey. Black women are taking the steps to defy Western culture and embrace an identity that is truly theirs! I am 8 months locked and am so pleased and satisfied with the appearance of my hair. I have also been vegan for about 2 years and the combination of the hair and body transformation have emboldened me and given me such a healthy outlook upon myself.
I appreciate your thoughts and feel the same way. I AM so happy to see you back and look forward to getting to know the evolved P. R. Charles. Thanks to you both for sharing both your journeys.
Welcome Back- I missed you and your intimate conversations; so natural and warm. You have a new setup going- interesting. I was thinking about you the other day and wanted to text or call but thought maybe you wanted space and time. Keep following your passion; you are a good educator.
I don't what I love more your hair or your nuggets of wisdom. I just installed microlocs (temporarily twisted until I'm ready to interlock) as I was inspire by you and others but ultimately I want the small look like yours. My surface area is small (180") so I was only to get about 400 locs in, but it looks pretty nice. I noticed you said you have 440? I was shocked because I thought you had like 800 or 900 so it was nice to see your look could be achieved with a reasonable amount that could be realistically self maintained. Keeping in mind that our various textures are like fingerprints individual to us all I'm curious about your early loc days before obtaining your length. I'm a hairstylist/nurse with healthy medium density curly 4a, 4b extremely fuzzy textured hair specializing in clinical hair loss solutions but seriously locs are a new medium to me. Since I want to look similar to yours I want to ask you about your starter loc size specifically and your swelling, I have a question: Did your locs stayed skinny from install without much swelling or were they micromini size at first then settled to the size they are today? Thank you for all you do!
I donated locs to my consultant which she used for other clients. I would not give my hair to someone that I know personally other than her. Witchcraft is real.
Thanks P.R. I learned a lot from you. Such an awesome individual. 💜💜💜period.
You always look so elegant and confident. Your inside shows outside. Good to see you!
Thanks so much The Stovers. Thank you for the positive feedback 🙂
