I am also Acadian (Thibodeau). I live in Faribault. MN. This recipe is awesome. Pierre Thibodeau was my 9x Great Grandpa but he was one of the originals to Acadia Grande-Pre.

Crown of Maine in Vassalboro Maine sells them. They ship all over to vendors. Ask what vendors sell them. Now, when you make it, don't spread with the ladle. Plop it on the cast iron and let it go, it will bubble. You can give it a quick flip if you like, but if you do, no more than 10 seconds. Enjoy. From a Mainer
