Another great video review Billy 👍 I was seriously considering the Kreiga system you previously had BUT after watching this I reckon the Moto Bags are easier and more secure and no mounting plate for my BMW 1250 GSA 👍 free beer 🍺 to say thanks when you come to Oz to visit 😊 cheers Karl (PS I also got the Moto Winch after your review when I'm riding solo in the bush 👍😊)

Hey Karl. Thanks for watching and your comments. Great to have you as part of the BBA community all the way over in Oz. I do miss living there but its been 20 years since i moved there and 10 years since I left :-( Whilst i do really like the Kreiga kit it has always baffled me why they have not diversified a little in the offering to manufacture more security and less faff in to their kit. That said if they had then Lone Rider may never have appeared to solve that issue for some riders. Much more simplicity and super easy to take off and put back on the bike. Let em know how you get on with them if you get some. I hope to take you up in that beer one day mate! Cheers. Billy

Good review. I’m looking for soft panniers, I’m torn between the Lone-rider pannier and the Kriega OS panniers. Is there a big difference in the width between the 2 brands? I watched your video on the Kriega panniers and now this one, does the Lone rider pannier stick out more than the Kriega panniers?

Hey mate. Thanks for watching and your questions. Having got both I can honestly say they are as good as each other at doing what they are designed for. The MOTOBAGS are superior in the ease and simplicity of use. No mounting plates to install first and then have to attached the bags to. Neither of the brands stick out beyond the width of the handle bars. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have other questions. Cheers. Billy

Why not make the outer waterproof like the Kriega, such a waste of space.

Hi Simon. The outer bag is water proof (99%). Most panniers and other bags will have a waterproof inner to go with them, that includes Kriega. So not so different to most bags on the market in that regard. Thanks for watching. Cheers. Billy

Nope. All Lone Rider stuff is way overpriced. Kriega OS with Outback Motortek X-frame pannier racks, bomb proof!! Did Lone Rider give you them or did you buy them?

Hi Scott. Hope all good. Kriega also a lot of money. When I was considering getting the motobags it was more about the simplicity of use that I just find more attractive than the faf (my personal view) of the Kriega bags (thats just my view). But not for all i know. Its great that there is plenty of choice out there

I turned off when I found out they're nearly £1k!!!

Its a fair amount of money but not that much more for a frame, mounts and bags of some other brands. That said it isa lot of money to part with so you have to make sure that you getting what you pay for. Cheers. Billy
