To glue the sheets to the ribs I like to brush Elmer's glue on the skins and the ribs and use my covering iron to bond the skins. Heat activates the glue really well. Works like a charm on 1/16 and 1/32nd sheeting. I also use Sigment to bond the skins edge to edge. It sands like the balsa, not hard like white glue or CYA.

You should try gluing the sheets together first. Better results and easier. Nevermind you just said this lol

Yea that’s definitely the way to go. Was going to do it on the second wing but completely forgot. Should be ok after some filler.
