The memories of this set will always have a special place for me. This set came out around 2008 when i first got back into yugioh from my teenage years.
Man like Yusei. I’m more of a GX fan but really like his design and character.

Black Rose Dragon was my favorite card from 5Ds as a kid haha, mainly because I was obsessed with the Duelist of Roses PS2 game and it was the closest we could get to having a "rose card" in paper.
As someone whose kept their 1st Ed Ghost Black Rose since the sneak peak, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this trip down memory lane to 2010!!
Have a good feeling that ghost rare black rose dragon will make its appearance.

Funny thing, i remember the Crossroads of Chaos Sneak Peek in Spain and the packs were unlimited. To this day i haven't found a 1st Ed. Spanish Black Rose Dragon LOL

I haven't open many of CROC, but i did get the Black Rose Tim and pulled an Ulti Thought Ruler Archfiend. That was long ago lol
opened a lot of this set back in the day, but was never able to pull any version of Black Rose Dragon

This was the last set that came out and I purchased before I quit playing. I got super lucky and pulled the ulti black rose dragon but never had the luck of pulling the ghost rare. Since I started collecting and playing again last year, ghost rare black rose is one of the top cards I’d love to get. I’m sad you didn’t get what you were after but the ulti plaguespresder zombie was awesome.
The last few crossroads openings I've seen, I've noticed that people have pulled the an ultra and then turn around and pull the ulti of it in the same box lol. But the plague ulti looks so nice!

Lol that’s funny that you said you had a dream about pulling a ghost stardust dragon. I open a lot of packs too and I have dreams all the time of pulling starlights and I remember thinking after pulling one “thats easy”. Lol
Well if it's CSOC I obviously want to see the ghost Black Rose Dragon, but the ulti version wouldn't be bad at all too. But there are really cool cards in this set, like the ulti Plaguespreader Zombie, or the secret Divine Neos. Oh, and the ulti Turbo Warrior! Not as crazy of a card, but a cool looking one for sure. Let's hope to see at least one of these!
EDIT: now this is an epic opening for sure! Plaguespreader loves you as much as Jinzo it seems. Maybe get some 1st ed. packs next time and pull the 1st ed. versions? Hahahah!

I bought 5 packs when this set first came out (which turned out to be my last set till 2014) and I got an ultimate rare plaguespreader. Don’t know what happened to it, I ended up giving all my cards to my nephew. But always remember that pull on release day. I thought it sucked but was a holo so I was happy

I remember going to the crossroads sneak preview with my cousin. He pulled a plaguespreader zombie but had no idea how much it was worth at the time. He traded it along with another card for a ghost rare honest. Good times
