Cracking cathedral, pity about the wooden blocks, and the entry price. Church being one of the richest land owners on the planet. Cracking windmill as well. Stay well and safe travels. All the best. 👍🐾🚐🕯️🐾😎
Yes, an expensive fee really. Or should I say contribution lol. But as I said in the video, you feel obliged! I love a windmill and haven't visited many and found it by chance on Google Earth.
Loved that ice cream! Looked it up.... is is an Anthony Gormly! Still crap though! So if you need to measure anything... Awwww. NOOKYMONST! ❤ Yeah! It does look like Derek Jacobi! Loved that weekend! Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Xxxxxxxxx
Beautiful Wells , went there many years ago . Stunning cathedral superbly filmed by you ( may I say ) . Thanks for showing me around as it refreshed my memory of my visit. Loved your solo adventure series, very brave ! It was well filmed, narrated and your choice of music and editing was as always, brilliant . Hope to see you back with Karl soon, take care .Byyyeeee 🚐👍
Aw, thanks for the lovely comment Eric, it is very much appreciated as always. Wells is a very nice place to visit and the cathedral was lovely. Hope you're well. Byyyeeeee
Don’t show Graham the ice cream! Wells looks beautiful especially the cathedral.🕯️ ❤ Not sure what I thought of those housebricks though 🤣 nice windmill. Well done on the trip. 😊👍
Thanks Ellie. I absolutely love ice cream! I could eat it everyday.😁 Wells is really nice and I loved the cathedral. Always love a windmill and first time inside one. Would have been even better if the sails had been going round.
Hello Helen and Karl ,Hope All are well , Great video , such a lovely Cathedral we Have been years ago but not been inside , The windmill looks great we have been and always closed when we went , But now we know what its like inside so Thank you Helen , i was just shocked to hear about Nooks , So Sorry to hear the sad News , warm wishes to you All , well Thank you for Sharing , Take care All 🌟
We did a few videos about Nook, he was diagnosed with cancer of the spine the 17th May and passed away the 8th June. I didn't think you'd seen as you said hello to Nanook too on your last few comments, but I didn't want to say anything to you and give you a shock with the news. We have been devastated by his loss and we miss him loads. Wells is really nice and the cathedral is beautiful inside.
The architecture on those old places are superb. Those houses looked great, but I still wouldn't want to live in one though, too crammed together and loads of humans. lol. Like the windmill too. Wonder if it would of spun round again if you moved that block of wood. 🤔🤣
Yeah, beautiful buildings but definitely close together. Although better built than anything nowadays, that's for sure. Be great to see a windmill actually working. I'd love that!
Wow you captured the cathedral much better than I did last week, I didn’t even see the clock, I was rushing a bit through, liked the windmill, might go take a look as we are in Somerset for a while, hope you get the issue resolved soon.. safe travels 🙏🚌👊👍
Thanks.😊 There's lovely views at the windmill and think it has walks from there too, plus the picnic benches, so if it's a nice day you could take food and drink and stay a while.
Wells is my favourite place to go. My bestie and I go there for a few days twice a year for a girlie break. We were there in April. Due to go again in October but sadly had to cancel as her hubby has just passed away. I always light a candle in the cathedral for my mum and dad, I shed a little tear when you lit one for Nookie. Next time I am up there I will light one for Nookie and Rosie. xxx
Aw Mary, that has made me cry you saying that about Nookie and Rosie. How lovely.❤️ I've been editing our recent time away in Raymond to do Nanooks ashes, and watching it back made us both so sad. So sorry to hear your friends husband has passed away. Sending her love and you too Mary.xx
I was actually going to say something about Windy Miller in the thumbnail lol, but changed my mind! Was that Trumpton or Camberwick Green, I can't remember.

Wells looks really pretty 😍
Loved the Cathedral ❤xx
Yeah, it's a really nice place. It's small too so easy to explore. The cathedral has some unusual architecture inside and definitely worth a visit.
Great shots as ever of the cathedral - thanks for showing Wells as I don’t think I have ever been or if I have it was when I was a kid
It's a lovely place. Small but very nice.
Wells looks absolutely stunning, proper oldie worldie city, for sure we need to have a weekend here.
Definitely. You and Milena would really like it there.

I think that could be the Mill that Windy Millers windmill was based on. Now you have the sound of the Mill as an ear worm LOL.

@@roaminginraymond Camberwick Green but they did seem to crossover I think.
Yeah, I remember both but couldn't remember which was which.
Nice one Helen wells looks worth a look the Cathedral looks stunning hoping you are keeping well, take care God bless Tom and Rosie ❤.
Thanks very much Tom and Rosie. Wells is definitely worth the visit.
The Cathedral was amazing, pity they put the silly pile of bricks instead of replacing carving.
Yeah agree. Modern art like that sucks.
