If it wasn’t for training in Korea they wouldn’t be as developed as they are now (talent wise). The Japanese idol training system is nowhere near as intense as the Korean idol training system, an example of this would be Sakura from Le Sserafim. She was an idol in japan for 7+ years yet she wasn’t good at singing, dancing, stage presence, ect until she moved to Korea and became a trainee once again to join Izone. Now that she’s in Le Sserafim she’s very talented, her singing is great, her dancing is great, and her stage presence is great. I’ll be honest…I’m 100% a fan of BTS, they are my one and ultimate fav. I have not been hooked on other groups since I first came across Bangtan in 2019 but I swear XG literally became my fav girl group. They give me the closest to the excitement I experienced when I found BTS. No other group had truly giving me that experience. I’m also OBSESSED with Jurin. She is soooooo good!

I first saw XG perform Shooting Star on Inkigayo and they just blew everybody else off the show that day!! Had to watch the dance practice and OMG, wait for it, the BTS connection...one of the choreographers is none other than Sienna LaLau / The Lab (ON, Run BTS, Chicken Noodle Soup). The MV is super cute and totally leveled up from their previous work but the members themselves also leveled up - they brought their A1 game during their promotions and deserve your praise.

Sadly, a chunk of kpop stans are hating on them because XG uses the kpop system as well as the style. But these fans fail to realize that if they wanna talk about “stealing” or “using”, we can remind them that the kpop industry does the same thing with different cultures to use as their aesthetic, especially african American culture. First generation kpop did just that but XG seem to be the ones getting the blame.
i think the best part of tippy toes as a debut song is, just as you said, it was simple and laid back so it acted as just a teaser/taster for what was to come. with each comeback they go harder and harder and it feels like a really organic progression of their music!

Tippy Toes is a genius debut song. Like they're singing about keeping us on our tippy toes and there being so much more to come WHICH IS RIGHT. They showed that they're insane dancers and have incredible stage presence. But they make you want more. Genius.

Just like another group we love, they try and maintain that hip hop aura. They are Japanese, singing in English and using 3 languages. The have a 90s/2000s R&B sound but can also do the poppier stuff too. And each one of them is extremely talented in their own. 4 rappers, 3 vocalists = 1 badass group
i havent been excited nor listened to any idol group for a quite long time as they all feel the same to me now, but to my surprise XG is the only group that really hooked me. They seem so fresh and different from any group now and really go all out with their concept and talent. idk what it is but the way they present themselves as an individual and group is really balanced and can easily hook you into wanting to know more, or to just simply think "oh yeah they on different level"

I don't think I was into a group so fast so hard since I got into K-Pop with Dreamcatcher. I started to listen to XG just a week ago myself and oh boy did I listen to the few songs they got on repeat. Though I still have to get behind TGIF.

But tbh the dance practice turned me around. The choreo is fire, just really fun to watch (Chisa stood out to me in this especially, she seems to live this concept). Their attitude as well and while I normally advocate for longer songs, in this case I think it's the perfect length because it avoids getting repetitive. So, tl;dr: I like the song, I love the choreo.

They are native to japan. Theyre all japanese but promote in korea. They only make song's in english. Theyre not kpop or jpop, they're a global group. Their music is SOOOO good dude.

Sadly, a chunk of kpop stans are hating on them because XG uses the kpop system as well as the style. But these fans fail to realize that if they wanna talk about “stealing” or “using”, we can remind them that the kpop industry does the same thing with different cultures to use as their aesthetic, especially african American culture. First generation kpop did just that but XG seem to be the ones getting the blame.

i think the best part of tippy toes as a debut song is, just as you said, it was simple and laid back so it acted as just a teaser/taster for what was to come. with each comeback they go harder and harder and it feels like a really organic progression of their music!

Tippy Toes is a genius debut song. Like they're singing about keeping us on our tippy toes and there being so much more to come WHICH IS RIGHT. They showed that they're insane dancers and have incredible stage presence.

Just like another group we love, they try and maintain that hip hop aura. They are Japanese, singing in English and using 3 languages. The have a 90s/2000s R&B sound but can also do the poppier stuff too. And each one of them is extremely talented in their own. 4 rappers, 3 vocalists = 1 badass group
i havent been excited nor listened to any idol group for a quite long time as they all feel the same to me now, but to my surprise XG is the only group that really hooked me. They seem so fresh and different from any group now and really go all out with their concept and talent. idk what it is but the way they present themselves as an individual and group is really balanced and can easily hook you into wanting to know more, or to just simply think "oh yeah they on different level"

I don't think I was into a group so fast so hard since I got into K-Pop with Dreamcatcher. I started to listen to XG just a week ago myself and oh boy did I listen to the few songs they got on repeat. Though I still have to get behind TGIF.

But tbh the dance practice turned me around. The choreo is fire, just really fun to watch (Chisa stood out to me in this especially, she seems to live this concept). Their attitude as well and while I normally advocate for longer songs, in this case I think it's the perfect length because it avoids getting repetitive.
So, tl;dr: I like the song, I love the choreo.

I'm a die hard fan of BTS and I've never ever stanned any other group than BTS cuz no other group had that type of energy and excitement which i felt by seeing BTS but after i discovered XG, they blowed my mind .. they are so good so great so talented just like how BTS is.. XG's like the Girl Group that so many have been waiting for. They have great music, sings in english, real rappers, amazing vocalists, phenomenal dancers, stage presence, great choreography, great management and confidence. Literally the almost perfect girl group. I swear to god they are like no other. People might say that we are exaggerating but NO. XG's like a breath of fresh air you know.
