Thoroughly enjoying your travel videos of Tassie. I’m an expat Sth Aussie (formerly of Naracoorte & Adelaide), now living in Burnie. Welcome to my backyard.
Love your videos Mick. They are informative and I really like t H e way you put your videos together. I always get the sense that there's no rush - just like it should be. Thanks for sharing.😂
This was a wonderful video as I had been to all the places you visited & recognised the museum as we went through it as well & wished that they had someone guiding you. So I am hoping that you did get a lovely sunny day for your boat trip as it is a trip to remember. I did the boat trip up the Arthur River as well & it was fantastic. Sad you didn't see an echidna at Cradle mountain as that is where we saw them in the wild. The wombats were probably 3 generation to the ones I saw everywhere. I could smell the fresh air when you were walking down the trails & I bought a print of the walkways that remind me of my visit to Arthur river & it hangs on my wall to remind me of Tasmania. I also did the train trip to Queenstown which was interesting but also boring in places as well as it is a long trip, also the carriages have been updated. We were given a free treat on the trip & it was way out of date & stale. Wait til you go to climb out of Queenstown to head towards Hobart, it is one tall mountain. When heading east look out for the sign post that tells you that you are in the middle of Tasmania. Unfortunately, Straun was closed the day we were there so I wasn't able to buy a Huan pine memento. Yes, there is so much to see & do over there so I have truly enjoyed today's video!! Looking forward to next week's to see how you enjoyed your boat trip & train trip.
Really enjoying the series Mick and Sally. Thanks for taking the time to make and post your videos. It gives us Non Grey Nomads something to aspire to one day. Safe travels
I was also thrilled to see that you also spotted the blue wrens which are my favourite Aussie birds & look forward to them visiting my garden on occasion. though ours are a deeper blue.
Unexpected trip to daughter in Qld! Watched P4 on the big TV and relived our adventures. OMG my name mentioned! We missed the train - not only was it closed but may have been permanently- pleased its running . My daughter impressed with your vlog- camera work. Going to view Flinders Ranges while here - she will enjoy them💙 As well as Tassie on the BIG screen❤ Thank you, stay safe & have fun Jan and Kam
A wonderfully put together video and an inspiration for our next trip. Seems at the 18.55 point of the video those crazy Tasmanians drive around in reverse which we'll find challenging with the camper trailer Thanks for putting the video up and safe travels.
I am sure that you will manage to do those challenging things with your camper trailer🤫good pick up, one I missed🤣🤣. I sometimes reverse the film clip when I edit so that it runs better when watching the entire video.😃😃
Hey Mick, Just watching your video, 20 years ago we did the Arthur River Cruise and were told that Arthur River is the only River in Tassie that has never been logged, which is why there is heaps of "driftwood" on the beach
As you mentioned while in Zeehan, the old architecture is wonderful and should be kept…..sadly a number were knocked down in the 1970’s round Hobart! Very sad!
G'day Sally & Mick ( had to play on that!) and Yes, you did correct yourself, or as others have mentioned with pronunciation of the beaut lake in Cradle Mountain spectacular scenery. Gosh , with all that trickling water and not a bush to hide behind....Envy envy guys, and am happy to join your viewing group in here....Thanks heaps again..Cheers !👍
Gorgeous - can't be-live you were having rain when it was dry as a bone over here! Very interested to see how you got along on the boat & the train. Safe & happy travels, thanks for sharing.
Great part of the state . Queenstown will test your vehicle out theres apparently 99 bends as you climb out heading towards Hobart. Love the place I used to live in Ulverstone on the north west coast love part of Tassie.enjoy your travels and be safe. I live near Truro.
Just came across this video of a couple in Tassie & they stopped at a place or two that I thought may interest you as you head towards Hobart. I have been to Russell Falls & love it.
Hi Mick & Sally, just started watched your videos and really enjoying them, we are planning to head to Tasmania in February next year so we are looking forward to your vlogs over the next few months. May I make one suggestion. I think you maybe holding your mic to close to your mouth when narrating. We watch it on a Media room with a sub-woofer and are picking up a soft low thump coming through from your wind hitting the mic (at least thats what is sounds like). However, really enjoying your style of narrating and showing so much of the area and very informative. Keep it up.
Cheers for that, it is not easy putting the videos together when confined to a caravan. Glad you are liking the videos apart form that noise, hope you have a great trip when you get over here, it is a great place to spend time here.
We will miss a lot of places, so much to see everywhere and only so long to enjoy what we will see in the time that we are here for. Always need to leave some things for the next trip🙂
Another spectacular video Mick "n" Sally Thanks very much for the video. I did upload the video today, too, on my own UA-cam channel as well today, my friend. Take care from William. Mount Gambier, South Australia
@@justcruisinwithmicksally837 Ah bugger. I was going to drop you a crayfish off while you were down this way (Southport) but I've left it too late. Enjoy the rest of the trip mate.

Beautiful, thank you.
Glad your having a great time. You've pointed out a few places we missed and will now have to go again. What a great excuse 😅
No excuses required, just go out there and enjoy life🙂🙂
A beautiful place, you guys are really blessed. Thanks for the video.
Having a beautiful country to visit and to enjoy is great, having a wife that shares the same things and likes is being blessed🤩🤩

The blue wrens are such a dainty bird to watch as they move around.

Thanks for that, just had us bewildered as to where it all came from.
As you mentioned while in Zeehan, the old architecture is wonderful and should be kept…..sadly a number were knocked down in the 1970’s round Hobart! Very sad!

We loved the north coast right through to Stanley but then all of Tassie is pretty good to us🙂.
Just came across this video of a couple in Tassie & they stopped at a place or two that I thought may interest you as you head towards Hobart. I have been to Russell Falls & love it.
We did go into Russell Falls as we headed towards Hobart and we absolutely loved it. Thanks for the thought🙂🙂
Hi, great info and insight, Tassie is so much like NZ, which by the way is a bit of land between there and Argentina😅
We have heard some of Tassie being compared to the New Zealand south island by some travelers that we have met.
