“wanting to avoid Set’s wrath” Set _should_ have been mad! They all should’ve, Nepthys totally overstepped. It’s sort of gross how in so many Egyptian myths the theme is that a woman is forced to accept that a man ‘moved on’ with another in some way: Ra lets his eye grow back, knowing the other is out there and will return, Osiris sleeps with another woman (even if she was disguising herself, your soul sees the truth of all things, and you have to be cooperative to something happening from that level of yourself for it to happen) and his wife ‘shows compassion’ by just letting her be co-wife now? She should have been angry that her sister violated her husband, her husband should’ve been angry to be violated, Set should’ve been angry to be cheated on. Nepthys should’ve been the one alone in the desert. Because discarding all alliances just so you can momentarily have your desire is the embodiment of chaos more than Set was.
You are projecting your relative cultural and social contexts on literal gods. When gods "marry" its more a consort thing, a union, its not the same kind of thing for a human where its more so about mundane day to day, where you give eachother security, energy and pleasure. They have a completely different set of values based on non physical things.

The Egyptians knew the atmosphere consisted of moisture and moisture is feminine while the earth was the dry land, being male. But the deeper meaning is about giving divine rebirth to the king (man) by the moving of his waters ( brain fluid) By the force of the sky goddess Nut ( moon and star alignment) Earth itself cannot be feminine, it is neutral. It sits between the two forces of nature. Geb is representing the male entity to be reborn, which is the bases of all the ancient Egyptian so-called mythological stories.

Isis is Greek-afied version of her name from the later Hellenistic era. Her original name would be Iset, Wuset or Aset, originally means the throne, which is the symbol used to write her name in hieroglyphs, and why old Egyptian art paints her with a throne on top of her crown. Stop making stuff up.

In myth, Taweret held Set down, as Horus cut off his right leg, oops! removed his penis too, meaning this story doesn't come from the constellations around the Norther Star, but it does match Orion, who stands at the center of the Silver Gate of Man, between Gemini and Taurus. Orion is Osiris, but cut in half, the upper part is Horus, below the belt is Set, the Sword of Orion or the Iron of Set, The Bright star at the tip is Hatysa, in Sanskrit Hatya means Slaughter, Gohatya means "Cow Killer", read backwards "Savior of Sinners", haat means 'to sin', yasa means 'savior' in Hebrew, hidden in Hatysa is Haya, meaning Grain, the God of Scribes known as the Gatekeeper. This star is found on the right thigh of Orion, the sword is a waterfall flowing from the Trapezium Cluster, Horus is holding his club above his head, marking the location of the Summer Solstice Sun, which is found at the tip, seeding it with his Haya.
The Big Dipper is part of Ursa Major, her right leg has twin stars Alula for a paw, when ever its at mid-heaven, Hatysa is found on the western horizon, turning his sword into Ploughshare or a waterfall, seeding/plowing Gaia. Draco was part of the world plow, invented by Dagon the Grain god, Taweret was the wife of Set, like Isis and Hathor, Taweret wears the horns and solar disk, connecting her with both. The cup shaped head of Draco was seen holding The Child Damu, the Dying & Rising (Rebirth) god of Healing, known as the Swine Star, Taweret was known as Reret The Sow, which a Sow was said to had raised Horus as a child.
