- This was supposed to go up yesterday for Sonic's birthday...but editing this took well over 12 hrs so yeah lol. Anyways, decided to go ahead & walk down memory lane & talk about my history with Sonic the Hedgehog through the 18 years I've played his games. I really don't know how people could hate Sonic Heroes. I've had the game since it came out, and even though I've played so many better games, I can't stop playing it. The same goes for Sonic Unleashed.
Heroes is one of those games you just can't put down ^^ Even if it is a little repetitive.

Gr8 Trailer Footage/Coverage ! I have been a Sonic Fan like you. And though I've had limited systems I could play them on - My favz r the classics on Genesis, Generations, and The Adventue Titles in that order. I mostly game on my iPad with Gamepad now, as I am now a frequent traveler, so that mainly leaves me with the 90s classics. Keep sharing optimism / for only fans like you can keep the spirit alive!
As a Long time Sonic fan myself, I was able to see from your point of view in your experiences with the blue blur. It really gave me chills. And although all of my experiences don't match yours, some of them do and it really made me happy. like trying to keep up with Sonic News, seeing negative feedback about Sonic for the first time and such.

My first Sonic game was Sonic Adventure DX for the GameCube. I believe I got it when I was around 7 years old. I have lots of very fond memories from playing the game with my older brother all the time. It was one of the games I played the most when I was younger, and that's why I love the series to this day. This is why I always will have faith that we will get a good new Sonic game soon, even though sometimes there are bad ones.

My first was Sonic 06. I actually thought it wasn't that bad! It had a cool realistic setting to it and had a Sonic Adventure style gameplay. Back then I didn't think about the glitches and loading screens, so it was a fun game.

My first Sonic game was Sonic 1 for the Sega Genesis. Ever since I played the first Sonic game I've been in love with the series. Sonic will always have a special place in my memories and heart. Keep making your channel awesome Cobi!!!!!
That was very good. It's interesting hearing the memories of someone who got into Sonic so late in the game actually. I've been around Sonic since the beginning dispite not even having a Genesis until 97'. I especially loved hearing your perspective on the shift in tone from popular concencous on Sonic after 06', Colors, and Rise of Lyric too and I totally share those sentiments.

Hi Cobz! Sonic Unleashed was my first and favourite game in the series along with Generations because of the werehog. I still play Unleashed and Generations today and will always be in my heart! Thank you for all the good memories SEGA and Sonic the Hedgehog and you too Cobz😄!

My first game was actually sonic colors. The opening video and the soundtrack convinced me and I'm not ashamed! Its the only other game soundtrack on my phone besides pokemon. But I only got to play the ds version and not the wii version. And after seeing your lets play of the game, I really want to find a pre owned copy for myself.

My first game for my GameCube was Sonic Adventure and I loved the multiple plot lines interlinking to make one full story. This actually inspired me to write stories and I'm now going on to become a screen writer. :D

The first three games I've ever played are Smash Bros. 64, DragonBall Z: Budokai, and Sonic Adventure DX. Sonic was my inspiration, and I played his games all my life, which especially helped as I grew up coping with Autism. Thanks, Blue Blur! Happy 25th Anniversary, bruh!

Dang I love Tracy Yardley! art, that inspired me to be a artist. Sonic has influenced me and I'm proud to be a fan to the series even tho it got derpy. Congrats for the 25th anniversary Sonic! The first time I played Sonic is when I was trying to get Sonic Colors for the DS but I accidentally got Sonic Classic Collection so I ended up playing all the four Classic Sonic games from Sonic 1 all the way to Sonic and Knuckles.

Sonic Rush Adventure was my first Sonic game and I am glad to see that someone else had memories of that game (even though it wasn't your first Sonic Game). So much nostalgia with Sonic Rush Adventure and me though.
Oh man I remember when I was playing sonic chronicles. Best part of my childhood as well as Sonic Heroes and Unleashed.
My history with sonic: it all started when I was 5 my mum had bought me a DS and sonic rush I played it all the time even though I didn't know what was going on I just played it for fun a couple years later I got a Xbox with sonic generations I instantly put it on and just was blown away at the game after that my mum got me a Sega mega drive for my 10th birthday with the original sonic included and my cousin got me sonic 2 and 3 to go with it (I also got sonic spinball) iv'e played them ever since and to this day I love sonic the hedgehog and is a die heart fan happy anniversary to the coolest hedgehog around

Aye Cobi. I have to tell you a story, but first I wanna say you are my favorite UA-camr out of all the people I watch, and you're my favorite LPer ever as well. So let the story begin.
I was young, about 11, and I started hearing about this thing called UA-cam, and I'm like, "What's UA-cam?" My friends would tell me, "It's a site for videos."
So, I went to look it up and sure enough, it was there. After all that, I started hearing about Sonic and Let's Plays, so I looked up Sonic Lets Plays, and sure enough, you were there.
I started watching you and after I started to watch you more and more, I created my own channel.

My biggest moment was when I unlocked Super Sonic in Sonic Advance 3 in 2012. I TOTALLY forgotten about Super Sonic as at the time I was in a very negative period of my life. That moment just pumped me up. Eventually, a day after unlocking him, I 100% Sonic Advance 3. Besides this, I have played Sonic Dash and Sonic Runners (RIP). All the more, Sonic's personality, speed, attitude and values in life have motivated me in life and put him as my #1 Character ever. Every now and then, I still hope for Sonic's triumph over Mario similar to the Genesis and Dreamcast days. HAPPY 25TH BIRTHDAY SONIC!!
Also, cobi, just a slight piece of advice. I think if you return to you roots, (well, excluding your high pitched voice 😁) you should be able to retain that positivity and stray away from depression. Trust me. Until then, keep rocking the place cobi!!!!

Pretty cool hearing your history with sonic, I wish I was into sonic as a kid, I didn't even know much about him til Mario and sonic at the Olympic Games came out, but even then I didn't play as his characters much. Oddly enough sonic boom is how I got into sonic, I loved the cartoon, I thought it was funny, and I thought shattered crystal was fun, shattered Crystal is weirdly enough the first sonic game I've ever owned.
And now Eggman has his arms open to you as a father figure.

So, it was around 4 years ago when I looked up sonic on youtube and scrolled down a bit and saw your channel. Just saying, you were the only UA-camr I was subscribed to for 3 years, because you were awesome! So I watched all of your lets plays ( my personal favs are the original Sonic Colors, original Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, and when I came back to your channel around 1 month ago, Sonic 3 and Knuckles ) and would post pone all chores/ homework I had to do to watch your videos. Guess what I'm doing now :)? I remember getting into Call of Duty and Halo ( OH GOD WHY ) And now I'm back to the way... OF SONIC!!!!! I'm currently in 7th grade and 12.5 years of age and from ages 3 - 10 all I knew was sonic. I used to have a ps2 that I played Sonic Heros and Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 everyday. That broke and I was without video games from 2009-2011 when I got a... WII FOR CHRISTMAS!!! WITH SONIC COLORS MM OH MAH GOSH!!!! All i remember when I didn't have video games is me asking my brother ( who had a ps3 ) to play sonic all day every day. It was sonic 06. That game was my SHIT back then, sadly. But then... I GOT A FREAKING 3DS HOLY CRAP SCA-DOOOOOSHHHHHH!!!!! I got sonic generations ( 3ds )and the classics collection ( ds ) so fast tho. And now I'm here... What am I doing you ask? Trying to trade all my Xbox One games to pre-order Sonic Mania and get Project Sonic 2017 for Christmas next year.... Life couldn't be better! Only I live in the hood now and I'm in pre-ap classes that I suck at so I have straight B's and C's out this mug :O but your now my fav UA-camr AGAIN and I'm back in the sonic business baby!
Back in the mid 2000's, all we had at out house was a gamecube. My older brother had Sonic Adventure 2 Battle for it, and that introduced to the series. That being my first sonic game caused Shadow to become my favorite character, and still is today. My fondest memory is beating that game for the first time.
my big brother got a computer. and when we visit my family members. and then one of them played sonic 3 and knuckles and im asked what was this game? and he said its sonic the hedghog
and im played on one of the save files. and then my big bro damload sonic advanture DX and it was the best thing ever. then sonic games wasn't on a computer. but then im saw sonic x and it was amezing and them im saw a game that im didn't saw and it was sonic hearos. so im buyed that on bug (a gaming shop in israel. im living there) my family didn't wanted me to buy consoles only for sonic games. so im damload a wii emulator. and im played sonic unleashed and colors. im didn't finished unleashed. but im finished colors and when sonic boom came out im was happy that im didn't have consoles. then the legend came... sonic mania. and then im played forces. maina and forces were amezing

It sucks that Unleashed (Best Sonic game ever) is underrated, and talk down on it for the dumbest reason's. People bash on Unleashed for the Werehog stages, yet again when has Sonic ever had a really good fighting game? If you want a Sonic fighting game then Unleashed is your to go to. Unleashed is just a perfect game with amazing graphics, insane speed (which noobs can't handle), hilarious comedy, action, hand to hand combat, etc..... Having less rating's than 06 is just pathetic, nothing but ignorant fool's who can think for themselves and bash it because other people are. Unleashed will always be my #1 favorite game, nothing will take that spot.
