@GOTGames Luke, please react to “Ronan(Taylor’s version) (Lyric video)”, yes it’ll make you cry, but that’s ok, ‘cos it’s beautiful. It’s written by Taylor, with lyric credits to Ronan’s mum, ‘cos some of the lyrics were her words, written in her blogs about her little boy,Ronan. Love from Annie, in Cornwall, UK🙂🌸💞

Taylor's parents are Scott and Andrea. They are no longer married, but they are Taylor's team. They work together, to support Taylor's success. I think that's the best example of people whose relationship didn't work out, but they will always be co-parents. The Swifts really crushed showing us how that's done.

Never Grow Up was released 14 years ago. 14 years ago I was 19 years old and listening to this song, dying to move out of my mom's house into my own place, while also wondering what it would be like to be a mom to a teenager that wants me to drop them off at the movies a block away because it's embarrassing, as teenagers do. Now I'm 33 years old with my daughter whose reaching pre teen years and soon she'll be embarrassed of me dropping her off at the movies, she's getting older and I am too. Taylor has a few songs that just comes back full circle and Never Grow Up is definitely one of them. 🥹💔🩷 My daughter loves Taylor Swift, her favorite songs are enchanted and long live.

It also hits teens. I'm turning 16 this year and it's always so easy to want to grow up, move out and start your own life. I'm still at the stage where I hear my dad coming home and can think my parents are embarrassing. It's just not something you often think of as being temporary because it's always been that way. I've never tried anything else. This song reminds me to savour and appreciate having my older siblings and family so close and that I overall get to experience being kid for a little while more. Because one day everything I know and have is gonna be gone.
(Though on top of that I've always had a fear of time moving and never being able to go back so this song is a punch to the heart every time, ahah)

This was my favorite reaction that I’ve seen you do! Not because it’s Taylor but because of your reaction as a Dad and how clearly devoted you are to your family. I love the song “Best day”, Great job! Whatever your job is, that is what you do, not who you are………your family is who you are. Keep up the great work and thanks for being vulnerable, you’re a special person. Take care.

Swifties LOVE Andrea and Scott Swift. They both interact with the fans heavily. Scott crusies around at concerts and hands out guitar picks to fans (I think he always has picks in his pocket wherever he goes). Andrea would circulate among fans and selected fans to come meet Taylor. They divorced in 2012 (?) but both are still VERY present in her life and often spent holidays together, etc.

Yes, finally! I've been waiting for these reactions since your 'Christmas Tree Farm' reaction. I'm so glad you loved them. Just a little fun fact for you: 'Never Grow Up' was actually written for her little brother, Austin.
Also, if you want more songs to cry to, and you will cry if you listen to them: 'Soon You'll Get Better' from Lover was written for her mother during her second battle with cancer, and 'Ronan' from the Red vault was written for a charity concert by the mother of the titular little boy who sadly passed at four years old. You'll also probably love 'I'm Only Me When I'm With You', which was written for her friends all the way back in 2006 on her debut / self-titled album.

OH FOR THE LOVE OF SQUIRRELS! I admit I haven't listened to every single TS song (close, but not every one) -- and I'd never heard this one. OMG! My son is 24 now and getting married in the fall. For half a second I thought "oh, this would be lovely to do the mom-son dance" then immediately, as I heard more lyrics, thought "OMG NO! I'd just be bawling!" So for sure not the mom-son dance song, but soooooo beautiful and really rips the heart. I really mourn my son's baby and childhood. I'd never tell him that. But I think most parents do. I adore my adult son, and of course love him beyond the ability to articulate it, but I also miss the baby and child he was.
