I never thought I’d get subs I was at 14 for couple months then end of June over night I jumped to 1k and now over 2300 but watch hours still always to go but I went from 8 to almost 200 when My subs spiked.. It’s hard to stay consistence some days when you feel you aren’t getting anywheres but I am gonna stay Consistent and hope for The best and keep learning and improving as I go… Good luck with your channel , 🍻to is both not giving up!!
@ReneesTravelChannel whoa. That's crazy. Yes I know how you feel about motivation. You put everything into making a video, and then it doesn't get watched much, and you feel like giving up. That's when you gotta shrug it off and keep pushing forward. Best of luck to you too!
You won’t get monetized if you do that . Even if you promote your channel via UA-cam site with google Ads . Any subs or watch hours from anything like that will not go towards the subs and hours you have to be monetized … so really makes no sense to buy or promote just be a waiste of money
So true - I just started vlogging with the Benji Travis vlog strat from the Think podcast last month - hit my first 3.3k view video on a channel that started July with just 38 subs! TOPICS. No “vlog day 3” titles on these vlogs… searchable titles!
Doing my little dog walking side hustle whilst listening to this. Great nuggets and good points. Starting with some changes come September once kids are back to school.
For notes, I text to my own phone number using bold titles and then send the text to myself as a segment. I can then scroll to the heading I’m looking for

When he talks about negative comments im assuming he meant like trolls not just a negative viewpoint towards the subject matter in general? And it was just misunderstood and not corrected? Because ideally you want viewers to have a strong response, enough to make them comment. Against a tech etc isnt necessarily a "negative comment", correct?
So with me getting over 3k subs in 45 days and getting around 1,000 views per video is not as bad as I thought I guess? I did run 1 UA-cam promotion for $50. 😅

All my videos pretty much peak at around 1,000 views. Besides some shorts getting 10k plus. Can’t seem to break that 700,800,1000 view count on my long form. I did start getting more retention. My hockey stick is looking better ! lol
Hopefully I am the minority, but I instantly unsubscribe from any channel (including the Think Media channels) that starts posting shorts because I don't watch them, but more importantly, I don't like getting a notification for a short.

that's because the content is highly searched. why? because they provide value, answer questions millions of people have.
