Thanks to @nachus134 for suggesting Luvabella, turned out to be good IMO. I have a list with many of your suggestions and I try to find most of them. It may take a while tho, I've many other projects waiting as well
@@Cskirt it was amazing how much voltage it's speech chip took - it didnt just die at 8 or 9v like most do but rather showed an increasing amount of malfunction with increasing voltage. The motors were obviously still being triggered by the speech chip but go way too fast from the excess voltage so you end up with the gears mashing and clicking.
im surprised the first doll's sound chip lasted so long, i am impressed 5:24 womp, bad luck i guess. also, can you try to do the same thing you did with universal/brushed AC motors but with induction motors instead ?
Funny how the speaker on the first toy turned into a low frequency audio oscillator and the motors went too fast and melted their gearboxes. Took a lot of voltage to release it's magic smoke.

I think Olaf also speaks in rather Norwegian, Swedish (like the puppy does), German or even Dutch! I think it is most likely Norwegian or Swedish because it sounds like it and it depends on what original country made the toy.
@@Cskirt Wow! I’m learning some Swedish already! Also the American version of Luvabella and Luvabeau (the boy version) speak English and French, I wonder if the Swedish version is also bilingual as well.
It is, but I can't remember what language it was. Most likely Danish or norwegian like most other bilingual toys that are sold here. Doesn't American toys usually have Spanish as the second language?
