I really liked your overview of Mary-Kate & Ashley’s Chanel bag collection. However, I’m going to disagree on the theory that Mary-Kate & Ashley will become the designers or creative directors at Chanel. Because the Wertheimer brothers invested in The Row via their investment fund, that would indicate to me that they are supporting what Mary-Kate & Ashley are doing at The Row, not because they wanted to hire them as Chanel’s designers. That role at Chanel would detract from them focusing on growing The Row, so I don’t see it happening. Time will tell, of course, but this is just my take on it.
They would be the perfect fit. They were clients of the brand, so they know the history and design language. A much better pick than Heidi who would just throw everything out and impose his style, or anyone else. Please let it be them!!!😊
