  • This quick video addresses removing the power switch without disassembling the robot vacuum. Other models use various versions of this same switch! Yes, I know I soldered the switch back in reversed. :)

Yeah, got Elvis fixed :-) Now, I have to say, though, Al made the soldering look easy, but it took us a few minutes. My friend who helped me said I got a cheap solder gun, but eh, the whole point was to save money.... Thanks, Al!

Thank you. I followed your steps on removing the switch. Glad you showed that part of it because I would have probably chipped/cracked some of the black plastic trying to get it out my way. Once switch was free, I blew some compressed air into the cracks of the switch, shot some WD40 into the cracks, and then blew some more air in so to work the WD40 down into the switch. Wiped dry. Thankfully (luckily), it worked.

Really helpful - the switch on my Eufy 30 died, and I hate ditching the whole unit.

Attach a pair of hemostats to avoid chasing wires down the hole.

Great video. I had commented on another of your videos about what seemed to be a switch problem with my Eufy 30C Max, where Eufy had suggested flipping the switch back and forth rapidly. This did seem to make my unit come back to lief. But I wonder how long that will last. And does that indicate something other than a completely failed switch? Is there such a thing as a partially failed switch? Seems logically to replace it in either case.
