I've really enjoyed following the rebirth/rebuilding of the A65. Paul gives excellent explanations of the whole process in terms those of us with limited technical knowledge can follow. Oh how I now wish I had never parted with my A10 many years ago. The sound of a big BSA twin is magical. Thanks for all the videos.
its been a long road but you got there enjoyed the ride with you Paul all the way next top job av a tin am on it with you cheers all the best thank you
Well it’s fair to say that this particular one has thrown you plenty of curve balls Paul, but as usual you’ve batted them all out of the park. Seeing the number of issues you unearthed as you progressed on this one has made me feel slightly less guilty about the challenges you had with mine earlier this year😉 Great work, and videos as usual. 👍
Seriously well done Paul even though I have little interest in british bikes I have thoroughly enjoyed following this journey to its successful conclusion you really are a master at your craft.
Congrratulations on completing this job, it was great to see how you overcame the numerous problems and a credit to your skills for having the knowledge and patience to rebuild this engine.
G'day Paul, l think your falling in love with that BSA, tell the owner finders keepers, just kidding, you have done a sterling job mate you should be proud of your efforts, cheers mate ride safe, Neil 🤠.
Sounds lovely if a little under geared….but 40mph limit, what on Earth is going on surely the road over the mountain is a national speed limit road if ever there was one.
Given all the issues that bike has thrown up you’ve turned a sows ear into a silk purse. It’s shocking how people can sell such a machine, but perhaps they didn’t know any better. Hope the owner has many happy miles aboard.
That engine sounds so sweet, just what I'd expect a new BSA twin to sound like. I would agree about the gearing but I nearly always end up thinking a bike could take a higher gear so don't mind me (I'm pretty sure my AJS could use one).
Well done Paul. It sounds so sweet. You've done a brilliant job to recover a bag of nails. Again, well done!

The owner will be amazed at the difference .regardless of cost , worth every penny .
I agree on the gearing. Thanks Paul.

Great bike! Lots of usable power, unlike most modern bikes.

She sounds great Paul - mission accomplished!
I so enjoyed this. The bike sounds wonderful. The owner must be delighted with your work. Thank you for sharing this.

Excellent. Thank you Paul.
That sounds good enjoyed the scenic ride to the mountain
Excellent - although at this point, i think i would say do what every you think it needs... just get it back 100%
Spot on Paul, another great job done.
What a cracking video one of the best i have seen 👌💯💯💯👍
Sounds wonderful, I do wish you lived closer as I’d be asking you to rebuild my a65 for sure!
Job well done and everything documented on video, what else could you ask for.

Well done another back on the road where it belongs

geared for a sidecar but good for lowered speed limits

The bike suits the roads where you are. Who needs some howling toad-on-the-job monster?
Time for the thick end of the wedge : )
Will you be sorry to see it go. Sounds so right now.
That's a really good bike now, who knows what would have happened to it if you had not got involved??
That bit of flapping tape on the left bar🥴
Why gear it up if you can only go 20mph???????
