I actually thought about telling you I’ve been in a funk lately while I was sitting in church today and now you actually asked. Coincidence? Things are off with church, family and friends and I’m just sad. Please keep me in your prayers! Blessings my dear!❤️
You're asking how I am? Well, I'm one month past my first hip replacement surgery. It's been rough. I feel mutilated. It's hardest to get enough rest/sleep. That's when the pain is at its worst, in spite of the pain medication. But my church family has been very supportive, providing ready to eat meals, a recliner to keep my swollen legs elevated, and a new swivel chair shower bench so I can safely bathe in my bathtub/shower. This has been a huge milestone in my recovery. I tried to return to church this weekend, but it was too soon. I need more recuperation before I can go back, but I can't wait until I can go back for keeps. But I can continue my ministries from home as they're both by correspondence, so I can continue witnessing to the Bible correspondence students and prison inmates. I've also been able to share my faith with the therapists and delivery drivers and give them books to encourage them in their journeys to accepting God. So, I am still able to be of service to God and that is a blessing.
I agree Jesus is the fountain of youth! A few days ago my 34 year old daughter and I were grocery shopping together (just for fun!) and we had to part ways quickly at the checkout because she was leaving for vacation with her adorb hubby and I had to beat home (before the dinner guest beat me there) and I gave her a kiss on the cheek "Bye Luv!" I shouted. The checker ask "who was that , a friend?" No my daughter said my mom(I'm 63) what!? my daughter said she went on and on wanting to know what my secret was... Jesus! He renews my youth like the eagles! Amen! Lots of Jesus love to you Chy! And all the sisters!
I took my husband's passing for me to realize that I had been idolizing him 😢 and still 6 years into it I have to remind myself to say thank you Lord for letting him be in my world, instead of saying damn I miss my best friend.😢😢😢
@@VC-mo5yg with God all things are possible 🤗 once I yelled at God and said"why my guy ? My holy spirit rose up so quickly and firmly. And I was reminded he was never mine at all. 😟 I take great comfort and knowing that he's safe he's not in pain, but without my face I don't think I could have gotten through it either to be honest. I've gotten closer to God than I've ever been and I am so grateful for the opportunity to get to know him better so when it's my turn, I am so ready. ❣️ Peace of Christ 🙏🏽😇

My pastor’s sermon this week was on being an enthusiastic witness for Christ. The Bible verses read were the parable of the sower of the seeds. In it, my pastor brought out the point that we are called to scatter the seeds of faith, not save the souls. Saving souls is God’s job. I thought of what you expressed in your last video and hope this message helps. I know it made me view this parable with an added perspective and depth.

I know what you’re saying Chyna about people not accepting God. You have to pray for them in silence. Let God work it out sometimes all we can do is to pray. My MIL who has a degree in geriatrics advised me not to ask the elderly how they are doing bc they often feel sick, instead say: It's nice to see you, it's nice to be with you, or you' re looking good....
I disagree. I worked for over 30 years with geriatric patients and am now 70 years old recovering from hip replacement surgery. I feel validated when people ask sincerely how I'm doing/feeling. Because my doctors sometimes don't listen to what I'm going through. It would be nice to ask if the person has any needs, whether it's to clip their toenails that they can't reach, or if they need their lower limbs massaged with lotion, or some little kindness that would brighten their day. Maybe they need help with laundry, or the floors mopped/carpets vacuumed. Do they need reading material or a puzzle book, or something to help pass the time while they're stuck in bed or at home. Do they need a ride to the grocery store, or can you pick up something for them? Use your imagination, but don't be afraid to ask how they feel. They may be depressed and need some cheering up or maybe just a little sympathy. Just be Jesus for them.
I’m recovering from a surgery. Sigh. I’m very aware of my body right now, hyper focused. You make a great point, as this mortal body ages, we are closer to eternity where time is irrelevant…..so we are not only getting younger, but closer to eternity. No issues there. No aches and pains. No surgeries.
I love the Solar system analogy. My husband and I were just talking along those lines. If JESUS, wasn't in the center of our marriage, our lives, we would have been divorced long time ago. I know theres tons of believers on this channel, so i feel totally fine in putting in a prayer request! My mom is in her 70's, had a major surgery on her heart and aorta a couple months ago, and now can't walk because her legs are too weak, had seizures and coma at the beginning, and still has a feeding tube and not much appetite. She thinks she will never get better and has resigned herself to living like she is now, in a care facility with help, until her last day. I would like to see her healed! so that she can go back to her apt and live alone once again! god can do it! please pray for her healing!
I am going through a difficult time.. particularly it was because I was in love with a narcissist. I am a Christian and knew it wasn’t who I should be with.. I love him but the relationship was killing me.. slowly killing me..

Haha I always say I'm fine LOL because I don't think people really want to hear the Nitty Gritty stuff and I don't want to bore them with it but I've had a lot of trauma especially in my childhood and you're right you do laugh about some of it some of it still not so funny though the God has given me the greatest gift of all and that is the ability to forgive
I think you are correct about the helter shelter situations that hit us from time to time. Many times, eventually, we see through things that were not as mega drama as we were convinced of. It could be that at times in the past, we might have been helpless to break free. However, even so. We see things in the people and the circumstances that we understand now as even possibly ridiculous. That would be even if we actually were pretty helpless. As for the questions to people, "How are you really? I think that is especially effective when this person has told you recently about some problem. That would be a follow-up.
One major contradiction in life, I have encountered, is people who say they don't believe in God are the first ones to blame him for the suffering on the earth.

Hey all please pray for me, dealing with a sister who I caught robbing me. Way above stealing. Broke my heart and soul. Sister born immediately after me. She believed there was a proverbial shopping cart top my stairs that she filled to the brim over last 2 yrs+ I had suspicions. Finally caught red handed Early May. * I have to file a police report b/c Sis won't cooperate with me. I was my property returned. Problematic if thief has SOLD off top valuable belongings. I even caught her trying to steal my prominance proving my ownership. I need God's guidance and strength whatever I decide and do is not out of vengeance or anger but desire to do what is right. I want the Truth. I want Accountability

It’s not Odd it’s God ♥️. My husband and I recently started Marriage Counseling again. I call it a tune up. When I sit with the counselor I can tell him my husband doesn’t answer me. Then if front of the counselor my husband tells us why. It’s a beautiful thing. Wishing you and Billy the best! Your an adorable couple.

IMO the best popular music was written by deep thinkers who were poets & bards. ❤🎶 Artists have a strong need to create & express themselves. You know, sometimes we don’t really know how we are. Some have lived with loss and pain for so long that it has become the norm. People give the I’m fine response because they no longer recognize the difference between getting through, getting by and being truly fine. Speaking for myself, I will give the I’m fine response when the person asking is not someone I’m that close to and sometimes I just don’t want to dredge my son’s death up again. And then again I do have days, seasons when I really am fine. ❤
My current trauma will never be laughable. We will get through it and Jesus will be victorious but ocd/scrupulosity is something so evil your bedrock is shaken.

Chynna, do you belong to a local church? It is important to be a member of a local church where you are growing and serving others and they are serving you. That Corinthians verse has nothing to do with growing younger.

It is a struggle when around unsaved family members, I just pray everyday for them and let it go ❤❤❤

Alright... this is very special... I know you drink turmeric tea 🥃 and I do too... yes, I drink it and I use a jar to store the orange powder. I prepare a hot tea with just one small spoon a day in a special thermos bottle of 600ml with a blue metal straw. Anyway, 1kg lasts 4 months. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It’s not Odd it’s God ♥️. My husband and I recently started Marriage Counseling again. I call it a tune up. When I sit with the counselor I can tell him my husband doesn’t answer me. Then if front of the counselor my husband tells us why. It’s a beautiful thing. Wishing you and Billy the best! Your an adorable couple.

IMO the best popular music was written by deep thinkers who were poets & bards. ❤🎶 Artists have a strong need to create & express themselves. Illustrated poetry in the form of journals, calendars, etc. would be very popular.

You know, sometimes we don’t really know how we are. Some have lived with loss and pain for so long that it has become the norm. People give the I’m fine response because they no longer recognize the difference between getting through, getting by and being truly fine. Speaking for myself, I will give the I’m fine response when the person asking is not someone I’m that close to and sometimes I just don’t want to dredge my son’s death up again. And then again I do have days, seasons when I really am fine. ❤
