By far the best version of this song I have ever seen. Absolutely amazing vocal treatment. These two voices work so beautifully well together. Such fantastic vocal quality and skill on both parts. And then the guitar. WOW!! - THANKS!!!
Beautiful version. We used to aing this in morning assembly in school in the 80s. It taught a lesson back then that lives with use until today. - Thanks.
I’ve been watching through several covers of this song with thoughts of covering it myself. Your’s is by far one of the best. Fantastic playing, harmony, production, and overall feel! Also, I think I play the same guitar as you do.
There was something really nice about that, 2 great musicians, 2 really great voices, no airs and Grace's, no gimmicks, left it to the song to tell the story. I am trying to cut back, but nah, I had to sub.
J'adore cette chanson depuis que je suis tout petit... Superbe version avec des magnifiques vocaux... Félicitations aux deux interprètes. J'ai adoré...
Thank you!! I'm so glad you like my cover of Streets of London! :) It's now available on Apple Music, Spotify and other digital platforms if you wanted to listen without the video! :)
Wow. This is gorgeous. That voice ... beautiful singing. Great cover of a great song. Can't get enough of this, I wanna hear more! This should have way more than 21,000 views!!
I love your cover. I played the original to get my 5 month old to sleep, your cover works better, (I mean this as a good thing) so much softer. Liked and subscribed :)
The glamorous days of the past. Memories flowing through the eye rims. But I still hear beautiful songs. I remember the streets of London And those were the Days.....
I thought I was da only person who remembers this song....to see a Young beautiful gurl cover this song.... I cryed. ...maybe... I'm not that old yet?... lol
An amazing version for one of my favorite songs. The singing and guitar playing are marvelous. Keep on recording and uploading Rebecca - you are very tallented and your voice is so special and unique. Good Luck!!!
Ralph McTell - Streets of London Have you seen the old man In the closed-down market Kicking up the paper with his worn out shoes In his eyes you see no pride And held loosely at his side Yesterday's paper telling yesterday's news. So how can you tell me you're lonely And say for you that the sun don't shine Let me take you by the hand and lead you through the streets of London I'll show you something to make you change your mind. Have you seen the old girl Who walks the streets of London Dirt in her hair and her clothes in rags She's no time for talking She just keeps right on walking Carrying her home in two carrier bags. So how can you tell me you're lonely And say for you that the sun don't shine Let me take you by the hand and lead you through the streets of London I'll show you something to make you change your mind. In the all night cafe At a quarter past eleven Same old man is sitting there on his own Looking at the world Over the rim of his tea-cup Each tea last an hour Then he wanders home alone. So how can you tell me you're lonely And say for you that the sun don't shine Let me take you by the hand and lead you through the streets of London I'll show you something to make you change your mind. And have you seen the old man Outside the seaman's mission Memory fading with The medal ribbons that he wears In our winter city The rain cries a little pity For one more forgotten hero And a world that doesn't care. So how can you tell me you're lonely And say for you that the sun don't shine Let me take you by the hand and lead you through the streets of London I'll show you something to make you change your mind...
At the enchanted London twilight you may have felt a haunting loneliness or sorrows sometimes. The tears which you shed would have various memories while listening to her sorrowful song Would there be the refined tears? The tears you shed when you see people’s sorrow, suffering, and grief are sophisticated tears
Beautiful version Rebecca. This was the song that drew me to wanting to learn how to play guitar, as I really wanted to be able to perform this song. X
Beautiful, I play this for my 6 month old as he seems to like the song to help get him to sleep. You're cover works better than the original I'm assuming because its much softer (which is great)

@Rebecca Jayne have you ever thought about using a live streaming service? I use mixer (previously beam) for streaming games. There are a few that sing etc. The community on mixer is amazing which is why I chose it over twitch. I think you should look into it :) if you do, let me know, I'll be sure to follow :)

U r pretty and Ur voice is pretty
Beautifully sung but the tempo is a fraction too fast to capture the sadness the song portrays
