Hi Sherrie! It’s nice visiting some old favorite stitching projects! You had a great batch of finishes. I look forward to seeing what finishes 2025 will bring.
Thanks so much Jackie ☺️
Hi Sherri, a wonderful finish parade - you’ve done loads including many fully finished. I know you didn’t like some of the monthly quakers but I loved them all…very tempted. I suspect Irish themed cross stitch charts are popular in the US because of the high number of Irish immigrants to the US in the 19th and 20th centuries - particularly around the years of the potato famine. But maybe the American viewers can help with this because it kind of surprises me too. Love the Rachel bird. Best from Steph in Cheshire 😊😊
yes I think you’re right about the green Quaker Steph ☺️
Good job with showing all of your finishes and remembering everything that you did. That is a real accomplishment.
Thanks so much Martha ☺️
WOW Sherrie that was an amazing stitchy year full of fabulous finishes! I love your Nordic Christmas mystery and your monthly stitches... and feel so inspired to get things done! I also enjoyed you spying on your yummy neighbour LOLOL!🤣
I'm sttching the Evaluation Center right now so it was fun to see your finish!
It's always fun to see all the pretty finishes. So much eye candy! I believe the thing on your Halloween Wee Bird is a piece of candy corn. Thanks for another great video.
You’re right about the candy corn Donna. No wonder it’s a funny colour hat 🤣
Your traffic cone is candy corn 😂. It's a US thing. Did contemplate buying some for the grandchildren at Halloween until I saw how much the cost on Amazon 😮
They are better in a bowl as decoration then in the tummy 😂 I think they are like eating wax 😬
Well whaddya know!! So much for orange hats 🤣🤣
Great video! My guess the orange triangle on your Halloween bird is a piece of candy corn.
Yes it will be, what a wally 🤣
I'm in the UK and I buy my 'mountboard' or 'foam core board' in 1m sheets from my local framer. It is a 'polystyrene' sandwiched between 2 layers of card. Hope that helps. I don't buy acid free and it's about 2mm thick. Loved your tribute to Jean. xx
Oh that’s fab Justine and it’s what I thought it would be. I’ll check out my local framers, thank you ☺️
Wow!! Congrats on all of your finishes. I only found you about 6-9 months ago, and I had no idea you were so prolific. Beautiful stitching. I'm hoping I get more finishes this year, as I'm doing considerably more stitching as it's my escape route from the utter chaos that surrounds us over here (US) at the moment. So, I try to think of happy things and stitch. Thanks for helping me as I escape. Steph xx
Aw thanks Steph. For what it’s worth we’re all watching with horror an incredulity 🥹 it’s good you find solace in your stitching ☺️
@@justsewsherrie💙💙 Just when you think it can't get crazier......😢
Sherrie thanks for persistenting through 7 restarts on your video this morning!!! I need my bi-weekly dose of Sherrie stories. Your finishes are so inspiring, but I do love to laugh with your stories!
Thanks so much Lisa ☺️
Your school girl samplers are lovely. I have contemplated that Stacy Nash pouch several times but yet to bite that bullet. 🎉 Happy New Year 🎊
Oh it’s a wonderful stitch Kristina ☺️
Wow, so many finishes!!! Congratulations!!! All your finishes are beautiful.
Thanks Laura ☺️
Sherrie! You never fail to cheer me up when I’m a bit down. I really enjoy all your shenanigans, and , of course, your pretty finishes (even the “lazy” ones). By the way, I think the orange witch hay/traffic cone is a candy corn. You may not have those among your Halloween sweeties in the UK.
No we don’t which makes me feel better about my ‘orange hat’ 🤣
Love love stitching along to your videos. As a Brit living in the States, you have such a comforting presence for me. You being confused by the “traffic cone” or “orange witch hat” tickled me. I have learned that, over here, they have a Halloween candy called “candy corn” (tastes awful to me). It’s featured in a lot of Halloween decorations here, so I’m sure that’s what the traffic cone is meant to be 😂 much love 💕
Yes candy corn! I’m such a dingbat but in my defence we don’t have it here so that makes me feel slightly better 🤣
Loads of finishes, I can't even keep up filling in the book of days! Love the Quakers...even the ones you don't 😊
The colourson the Rachel Bird are lovely but I've always hung back because I don't like the bird... I'm thinking now maybe I could just leave it off? Would it be a Rachel then? 🤔
I’m not a fan of birds either Jean, I also toyed with not stitching it and I think it would work and yes I guess it would just be a Rachael 🤣
Love seeing all your finishes! And the traffic cone is probably supposed to be a candy corn lol.
I was going to say the same thing. 😂
Yes I believe so now ☺️
Super finishes. Well done you. ❤❤
Thanks so much Joy ☺️
Great finish parade Sherrie👍. You got tonnes done. I think i've finished on wedding sampler for my son which i never gave him.....he got divorced late last year 🥴. As you so rightly, grief affects each of us differently. October i lost my mother(hadn't seen or talked to her for 14/15 years)and the love of my life. Neither was a surprise, so didn't actually feel too much, BUT oh my goodness since December its been sad. I was more surprised that its my mother that i think of often trying to remember the good times. And Ken, i'm just regretting. Have a good week.🤗
Yes grief is a very personal beast with its own journey. Hope you find peace with it soon 😔
Sherrie honestly you made me pmsl you perving at the house across the way !!!😂
You had loads of finishes! All gorgeous even your lazy ones, oh BTW that 'traffic cone'is candy corn in America.
Yes it’s candy corn I believe and totally accidental perving 🤣
So true, so true. Thank you
Thanks Connie ☺️
As always ❤❤❤❤
Thanks you ☺️
Great Finish parade Sherrie, you give yourself a pat on the back because you achieved a hell of a lot more than me,Thankyou for sharing from NZ 🇳🇿🪡❤
Thanks so much Donna ☺️
Great finishes ❤️❤️❤️under the crown on the last ever tote I saw other finishes with there initials
Yes you’re right Melody, I’d quite forgotten I had it to do ☺️
Thank you for sharing all your finishes for last year! It was very inspiring. The construction cone on your Wee Halloween piece is a piece of candy corn which is a very popular candy for Halloween here in the US. We only get it at Halloween. Take care & continue on Please!!!
Ah thanks so much ☺️
I think it would be fun to find a witchcraft book and put your 1692 They Forgot One as a flat piece on the cover.
That’s a good idea Cathy 🤔
Fantastic finishes well done ❤
Thanks Sally Ann ☺️
Great video. Thank you.❤❤❤😊
Thanks Sandy ☺️
🦉😍🦉
Love all your finishes Sherrie. Keep up the great work you are very inspiring. Happy stitching.
Thanks Susan ☺️
I love seeing all your finishes! Beautiful! The "traffic cone" on your Halloween Bird, I think is candy corn. I'm not sure if they have that in the UK. It's a Halloween staple in the US. Foam core board is foam, or styrene sandwiched between lightweight cardboard. That's what I call foam core board. It's great if you want to pin, rather than lace or glue your finished stitching. 😊
Yes that’s what I thought it should be Diane, thank you ☺️
Love all your finishes, gosh there was a lot!! I also stitched Pretty Bird from the Artsy Housewife and finished it at Stitch North in the fall, it was for sure my favourite stitch of last year!
Oh that’s wonderful, it’s such a gorgeous pattern ☺️
💟☮️
Sherrie your stitch piece of the witch on a pumpkin "Moonlight Madness" Is it in a book or a purchased chart? I only stitch now on 18count. I have looked everywhere for it & cannot locate it anywhere. Can you help me please with more information!!! Your stitch with the black thread showing...can you take either one out & fix it? Maybe your framer can help. I love those 2 Quaker stitches.
😂 voyeur, Sherri.....😂😂😂
I know!! How embarrassing 🤣
