Do you have any more information on this? I've been trying to research this unmade sequel for years and have found very little information on it. I never knew it was going to be called Revenge of the Mask till just now. I know Mike Richardson, the creator of the Mask comic series, wrote a treatment for a sequel, but I don't know if it's the same as Revenge of the Mask. Hopefully the script for this surfaces online one day. I would love to know what could have been. I was among the first to uncover the Beetlejuice Goes Hawaiian and Beetlejuice In Love scripts, so maybe there's hope of finding this too. I should try to reach out to the people involved and see if they can potentially provide the script, or at least a synopsis.
Thank you for sharing Shapiro! Would still like to know more about the Revenge of the Mask kit. I reached out to Chuck Russell about the script he prepared for this sequel. He says he wasn't familiar with this press kit when I showed him a picture of it from your previous video (hoping he's digging through his archives to look for the sequel script).
Thanks for your interest and enthusiasm! I had heard second-hand Chuck's script was in the realm of "Night at the Museum". Put in a good word for 'ol Shapiro if Chuck might like to come on and chat about about what his vision was! I hope to take a better run at the press kit in our continuation video (continuing of course with the shaky camera work of camera man Gary-- who really is the best at what he does!).
Man! I still wish Revenge Of The Mask with Jim Carrey would’ve existed. It’s a legacy sequel, that I wish to happen. As long as Jim Carrey, the visionary filmmaker, and the right script is all up for it. But thanks for the lost media that you’ve discovered from the cancelled sequel.

2:14 - I remember her! Didn't she play the mom in Son of the Mask?
That makes sense now!! That would explain why that little man brought it to me!
@@ShapirosWorld It's all connected, man! 🤯
@@TylerFG It really seems to be, doesn't it?! Nice catch!
I have the Mask on SNES
We'll be looking at that soon too!!

RIght?! For now, if it's helpful, I'll keep pretending like it did exist! -- Shapiro
