- enstars is a nightmare I cannot escape.
After reading Ensemble Stars Music's main story and not finishing it, I disappeared off the face of the Earth for 2 months. Now I'm back with even worse edits. It's like a reaction video except I WON'T shut up. Yippee!!
These videos have officially become so chunky with stupid jokes that they can barely render on my old, decrepit computer. The Trials and Tribulations I have to go through to provide you guys with content™ are numerous. Please... appreciate them...
I decided to do something a little different with the editing in this one. Because it's an event story, I felt just having disjointed clips would be a bit confusing. The upside with this style is that those of you who wanna know the story can sorta use these as an alternative to reading it, y'know? It can be super hard for some people to concentrate on reading a bunch of text, so having me read it for ya could be helpful. On the other hand, some of you might just want the funniest clips and wackiest reactions and edits and you don't really care about all the ACTUAL plot in-between. Let me know where you stand on that! Personally, I like leaving the story in. It's less editing and just means I can get these videos out faster and also focus on big, elaborate edits instead of rapid fire one-off bits. I really like reading Ibara's long monologues. Can't wait till I get to some Valkyrie stuff so I can read Shu's even longer monologues. These videos will be 2 hours long eventually, MARK MY WORDS.
I'm no longer making promises about content. You will see more Ensemble Stars things. When? I don't know. I just work here.

Bogie Time is such a cute story! I don't know a whole lot about Eden but this story definitely made me want to learn more about them, they seem like a fun bunch. The new format is nice, thanks for all your hard work!

This video was such a delight to watch. I was honestly expecting a Chapter 5 video but when it became a Bogie Time story video, I got so excited because that's one of my favourite event stories ever. I have to say that I loved your little improvisation bits in this video, especially at 9:46 because I immediately recognized the Alice: Madness Returns soundtrack playing in the background during Hajime's existential monologue. The fact that the song in question is titled "Surreal" just makes it even better.

First of all, the little improvisation bits are my favorite jokes to do. I have to make them up off the top of my head which is pretty hard, but it's INCREDIBLY satisfying when they're actually funny. Hajime is an incredibly cute anime boy, so the idea of him seeing cosmic horrors beyond his comprehension is hilarious. And with Ibara I can just be a bitch so that's fun.
Secondly, I LITERALLY only put Alice music in here for the 1% chance somebody would notice. I did not expect somebody to call it out THIS quickly like WHAT!! This entire video was worth making now, thanks
@@yamjoon I can imagine how hard it is as a person who has done improv before myself. It really is not easy and it can be very difficult to not go off on tangents and add different plotpoints that could confuse your audience. You mastered this instantly though because the point was that Hajime was kind of spiralling down this deep dark rabbit hole (pun unintended) of the inner machinations of his mind. Someone said that you sounded a lot like a character from Snapcube's Sonic fandub series and I have to say that they were right. Hajime reminded me a lot of Silver from Sonic 06 fandub they did. Same essence of existential crisis and deteriorating mental health in an overall small and sweet person.
As for the Alice music, I didn't think anyone would know much about the game as a whole considering it came out more than a decade ago and only for a certain playstation console (I forgot which number it was). So when I heard the music, I was overjoyed that someone else knew about it, too. For a second, I had to double-check in case I was hearing things wrong but it was indeed Alice music and I was ecstatic to hear it being used in a video solely for the thematic and narrative aspects of the video, which was very fun to me and it added an atmosphere to the improv, too!
I'm very glad to hear this video was worth all the work to make now! I genuinely really enjoyed it, so I, too, am happy that you made the video!

Halfway into the video I realized your voice for Hajime sounds a lot like Tail from snapcubs Sonic fandubs so that was on my mind for the last half of the video
