I love how you have created this community and made so many of us feel seen! I never felt like I was a real gamer because I liked relaxing, low stakes games. But you normalized using gaming as a form of relaxation and self care for me. I'm so glad you are making content!
One year ago I thought that gaming is just for kids or "nerds". So it was like an 'embarrassing' part of my life I couldn't speak about to other people. It is so nice to see that the cozy gamers community is growing. Gaming become a more 'normal', a more 'appreciated' activity for me. Thank you Kennedy
I absolutely love the museum in Animal Crossing. Every time I give Blathers something new I go find where it is in the museum. I love just wandering around and listening to the peaceful music.
Link's Awakening is also super cozy, doesnt induce anxiety, you can play it for hours or for a few minutes. Its mostly puzzles and easy to moderate combat, plus the art style is super cute.

I love gaming, I’ve been gaming since my dad got me a DS Lite for my 7th birthday. I play a variety of games, but I always go back to “cozy games” like Stardew, AC, Harvest Moon, etc... Animal Crossing will always be my NUMBER 1 game!! Started with Wild World and have been obsessed since then. I have been waiting for Animal Crossing New Horizons for such a long time. My best friend got my Stardew for my birthday in 2019. I played it so much while I was waiting for Animal Crossing to come out! Now I play both all the time. Not to mention the new update for Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing getting constant updates!
omg... even the video alone has such soft and cozy vibes that i felt SO chill watching it, i just picked up my own switch today (first console i own since the wii 10 years ago!! i'm so excited) and this is making me already want to just crawl in bed and chill playing something! don't have that many games yet, but it's still making me giddy :) can't say much in terms of cozy games for my own switch yet, but the liar princess and the blind prince already feels like one!
I just started Spiritfarer and Cozy Grove, and have been playing Littlewood. Cozy games really are my vibe right now. I love developers making cozy relaxing games. Whether it’s visual novels, easy going sims and rpgs. I can’t handle extreme combat unless I am playing co-op, some mechanics are just stressful for me. 🥺
When u recommended little nightmares and Calico... I had to subscribe! I resonated with everything you said, I am a busy person with school and work. When I want to to relax, I pull out my switch and grab my tea and play while my cat is beside me on my bed.
My dad is a huge gamer so gaming has been a big part of my life, but it's never felt like a space that I could really be a part of. I'm just getting back into it with a switch, and I am absolutely living for this energy. I love that there are now parts of the gaming community that are full of women and feminine energy. I LOVE IT HERE 🥰
Yesss thank you for sharing your fav cozy games cozy queen 💗 idk why I completely forgot about Pikmin coming to the Switch LOL but I can’t wait to try it now 😳
I finally got Stardew Valley because of you and I’m really getting into it so far, I’m only on the the first year , like still in spring lol i really appreciate your recommendations! i’ve also joined your discord and i am so pleased with how laid back and cozy everyone is. it really feels like a community there 💛💛💛
love how you included skyrim on this list! :)))) its one of my favorite games, and i think people overlook how comforting/relaxing it can be because its not as much of a conventional cozy game lmao
My simple background is that I played games as a kid in the 90s for the thrill and excitement of leveling up on the bosses but as an adult I just like a chill/cozy fun experience
BotW, Animal Crossing, and Stardew are some of my top cozy games too! I just popped my BotW cartridge back in my Switch, it’s definitely a different type of cozy game but I find the open world so comforting
I can see why Animal crossing would fit this coziness. But 3 houses?! that game gets me stressed when in battle. Lol But I do agree, that the other part of the game where you're in school is very relaxing cuz you're like... in a... dating simulation type of territory ? Hmm now I see why its a cozy game hehe XD
I didn't even know I was a cozy gamer until I found your videos. I love playing Animal Crossing and have just started Cozy Cove. I am a Sims OG. I have been playing since 98/99. I keep watching so I hope I can find more cozy games to play.
I don’t know if it sounds silly but you are the biggest reason why my family life (husband and daughter) has thrived the past month. I started watching you on Tiktok a month ago and decided to purchase a switch lite. Around that time I was overwhelmed with family life and constantly in conflict with my hubs. I started playing the cosy games that you’ve recommended and wow I feel so much more balanced and happy. Even my relationships with people are thriving. So thank you!
this is the sweetest thing i’ve ever read and i’m so so glad gaming has been able to provide that for you! it’s gotten me through rough times and provided fulfillment and mindfulness in ways i never could have predicted, so i’m glad you’ve found that too!! all the love to you and your family!🤎
@@CozyK You know you’re on a right path when you’re making others feel better about themselves, Kennedy. So keep doing what you’re doing. I absolutely love your videos and aesthetic x
But is it a bad thing if it is? To me “nerd” is as John Green described it: “Nerds like us are allowed to be unironically enthusiastic about stuff. Nerds are allowed to LOVE stuff, like, jump-up-and-down-in-your-chair-can't-control-yourself LOVE it. When people call people nerds, mostly what they're saying is, 'You like stuff,' which is not a good insult at all, like, 'You are too enthusiastic about the miracle of human consciousness” To me the real crime is that so many people are still so adamant about trying to restrict what “gaming” is or who a “gamer” is, and their definition is restrictive and innacurate. Games are as varied as people, which is why there’s something for everyone. And that’s beautiful to me. I’m nerdy. I love gaming. And there are a few games I have loved so much I am a straight up nerd about them :)
You’re so inspiring and relatable. Didn’t really realize there was this community either, and now really making me to want to engage in more games! It’s ok to play games and not be a typical “gamer”. 🙂 My husband forwarded me your channel and so happy he did!
My switch lite is coming in a few days, and I just wanted to thank you for validating cozy gamers. For a long time in my life I believed that I wasn’t a real gamer because I usually don’t like violent video games. They’re fine for days when I’m just in a bad mood, but for the most part they’re not my vibe. But this community has given me a lot of hope, and a lot of games for my wishlist.
i JUST got my switch & i am so excited to finally get these cozy games i've been eyeing! i have some of them on pc and i also have cozy ds games, but i'm honestly so warm on the inside knowing there is a plethora of games out there to explore ^_^ thank you Kennedy!!
Stardew, Pikmin and animal crossing are definitely great cozy games! Anything Zelda can be cozy too, nothing better than exploring on Breath of the wild‼️
I highly recommend "Summer in Mara" !! It's really cozy and relaxing (most of the time, sometimes you might be a little stressed :/). The storyline is really freakin' good, so I highly recommend it.
Wow so much of what you said about being a cozy casual gamer really struck a chord with me. I’m actually a little emotional for some reason lol. Thank you for making this video💕
so about 3 weeks ago I was on the fence about getting a switch, one of you cozy games videos and decided to get one. first game I got was night in the woods and I LOVED it. I didn’t expect to get as emotionally attached as I did. i’m currently hooked on hollow knight, has a lot of exploration and is challenging but still enjoyable. I haven’t decided on what game to get next but just wanted to say I love your content
i started watching your videos yesterday and immediately felt so much warmth from you! I got stardew valley today after watching your video and wanting it for ages so i can’t wait to cozy up with you! 💜🌼
Omg I saw your collection list but haven’t watched it all. Do you have the game Ni No Kuni? Studio Ghibili helped develop it and it’s awesome. I recently kinda got back into games and didn’t realize that “comfy” games had been what I was looking for this whole time! Ni No Kuni is cool though. It’s a rpg but the cut scenes are basically a studio ghibli movie. It’s awesome.
I recommend Rune factory 4! It has more story than Story of Seasons/ Harvest moon so I prefer it. It came before Stardew valley on nintendo ds, but has been rereleased for Switch :) I just play on easy so I don’t have to worry about combat. I love a short hike btw! :D
You mentioned some of my favorites!! Story of Seasons Friends of Mineral Town is a great one too. It's basically a revamp of the game that Stardew Valley was based off of
Welp, this is my first time seeing you at all. And after watching like 2 minutes of this video and hearing you explain how you even got here it made me see that I as well, am a Cozy Gamer 🥰‼️. And your voice is SSOOO calming 🥺❤️. I love you so much already!! I’m gonna go and watch more of your content 🥰🤎. Edit: I was sitting downstairs on the couch and just started watching your Stardew Valley Series since this is my first time hearing of the game, but your voice and you describing it made it sound so calming and fun. So then I went upstairs to my room to cuddle up in the bed and watch instead 🥺. Your voice makes me sleepy and feel so calm 🥺❤️‼️.
I'm so glad Spiritfarer is getting all this love. I played and finished it ages ago and it was such a hidden gem of a game. I keep telling every gamer I can about it. And the fact that it has had some updates since I've beaten it. A time to stream it while I replay it is coming up! 🌺🌸
Another cozy game is a Old Mans Journey. Very soothing and cute little adventure game with this old man traveling around. Highly recommend it for switch.
Ima leave some games I think you’d really enjoy!!! Forgotton Anne Child of light Gris Shady part of me Cozy Grove Hollow knight The gardens between Ni no kuni Inside
I love Forgotton Anne and Ni no Kuni ! For anyone who's a studio Ghibli fan these two are a must have. They're just stunning. I'll def check your other suggestion :)
I’ve owned BOTW for a while now but barely started playing it because I was so intimidated, but hearing your description makes me want to give it another shot!
I just started playing Cozy Grove and I am super in love with it ☺️ The grafics are so beautiful and the music is just so calming and cozy. If I had to compare it with other games - it's like a mix of Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing and Spiritfarer ☺️
I played a lot of games during my teenage years but as I grew older and went to university I found that I didn't have time or enjoy video games as much. I recently picked up gaming when the pandemic and lockdowns first started and I can't relate more now to this cosy gaming vibe and it's revitalised my love for gaming and has been probably my biggest outlet for looking after my mental health. Also, the designers who made the aquarium in animal crossing had no business to go that hard! Blows my mind every time I walk through it
@@CozyK also I'd highly recommend Florence on Switch too if you haven't played it. It's a very short interactive story but the art style and music is just 😍
Oooooh! We have a lot of shared games on your list, so that makes me think we have really close taste! The latest game I just finished that I find really cozy and also really emotional, but ultimately just excellent is To the Moon. I don't know if you've played it but if you haven't I 100% recommend it and if you have boy do I need people to talk about it with! It ends up being less of a true "game" and more of an interactive story. Its very guided, you explore very small areas at a time, and its quite short (about 3.5 to 4 hours total for me), but the writing and story and music are also so incredibly phenomenal and gripping that I could not put it down. I did it all in one sitting and I loved every moment of it. Like a rainy day makes you wanna curl up all cozy with warm socks, blanket and tea to rewatch a favorite movie or reread a favorite book, I wanna replay this game over and over and get wrapped up in the story all over. I haven't played Spiritfarer but its the same mood from what you described, and now I'll have to give that one a go :)
Thanks for sharing your faves! I've been playing Spiritfarer for a while now. The color palette & music are so cozy. Another randomly cozy game I found is Yoku's Island Express. It's a low-stakes metroidvania where you're a cute bug in a tropical island world & you don't die. If you like A Bug's Life vibes it might be worth checking out. It often goes on sale at the eShop for $5
Coffee Talk make me get back into gaming after YEARS. of not playing video games lol. I stopped playing when i was in 7th grade and im 24 now, so yeah, thank god games fit my aesthetics of today. 💕😭
I bought a switch because I finally got bored with New Leaf and I was ready to jump into New Horizons(especially with the 2.0 update coming). Because of you I realized the whole genre of cozy games, I can't wait to take a deep dive into all of them.
I don't know if these are considered cosy games, but I love the Delicious Emily series - it's a time management game, but some of them are just so cosy in feeling. One is a Christmas game, and each level is just super cute and warms you up.
Oh! I recommend AER Memories of Old! It's basically just an exploring game where you're this character that can turn into a bird, fly from sky island to sky island, fly through the clouds and learn about the culture that once was with the people that lived there before the world got turned to sky island! There's 3 temples that's kinda puzzle ish, but that's really it, as far as I know Idk I just really like it, it calms me more than animal crossing new horizons, bc in acnh I have to stress about debt
i just got a switch lite for my bday and i love the cozy feeling it brings. i have a ps4 that i use for my action packed gaming, but when i’m holding my switch i just feel so warm and cuddly 😅. i’ve been trying to find more cozy games so this is wonderful. i love your content !
Rune factory 4. The best game I’ve ever played in my entire life, i have never played a game with better developed characters. I can’t recommend it enough. It’s a fantasy harvest moon game like stardew valley but with a greater focus on fantasy.
You might as well check out "Yokus Island Express", where you play as a dung beetle who carries a pinball. Has some metroidvania features and ist a really cool combination of jump&run, metroidvania and pinball.
A little late to this video but another game I would recommend is Ori and the Will of the Wisps. It is a little on the challenging side but it has beautiful art design and music.
if you like cozy horror games i highly recommend yumenikki - dream diary and mad father!!! i will say yumenikki is a bit overpriced with how janky the controls can be (i think it's like $20) but it's still a really good game to cozy up to, it's really atmospheric and has such a weird, dreamy aesthetic, i still really loved it! there's no dialogue and encourages you to just go through each world and explore it, it's really cool! if you like little nightmares you'll probs really like yummenikki, just maybe try to get it on sale or smthn lol mad father is also really, really good on the switch! it's definitely creepier in atmosphere imo, but it's not very long and the puzzles are p easy so it's a good one to relax and play. (also they have this super cool filter that looks like an old tv screen so it looks like you're playing an old rpg game on an old tv, and it's the coolest thing in the world)
I came across ur channel and cozy gaming resonates so well for me n my experience! thank you for sharing, I immediately subscribed and cant wait to discover new games thru you !
I'd like to recommend Hollow Knight as a cosy game 😊 The boss fights can be very difficult, but it's my ultimate cosy game because of the huge map to explore, all the really cute creatures & npcs, and the MUSIC. Omg the music. Give it a try if you want ❤️ You can get lost in it for hours & it's so satisfying to find new pathways
If you want cozy and exploration yet somehow also existentially creepy then Outer Wilds. You are a alien space traveler trying to figure out the mysteries of the little galaxy you're in.
I love how you have created this community and made so many of us feel seen! I never felt like I was a real gamer because I liked relaxing, low stakes games. But you normalized using gaming as a form of relaxation and self care for me. I'm so glad you are making content!

The aquarium music is S Tier
The first time I saw the museum, my mind was blown. It's so beautiful and looks so realistic. I enjoy it every time.
Sammmeeee
Finally I’m not alone!!! It’s my favorite too!
Link's Awakening is also super cozy, doesnt induce anxiety, you can play it for hours or for a few minutes. Its mostly puzzles and easy to moderate combat, plus the art style is super cute.
this has been on the top of my list recently - definitely need to try soon!!
How long does it last? I thought it was super interesting but I'm resilient to buy it because i feel it's too expensive for the amount of content
@@catalinamontoya1223 it has so much content trust me its worth it

ROKI is amazing! I got it on sale and can't believe that it isn't mentioned more when cozy lists are made.

I just started playing Cozy Grove and I am super in love with it ☺️ The grafics are so beautiful and the music is just so calming and cozy. If I had to compare it with other games - it's like a mix of Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing and Spiritfarer ☺️
That’s so surprising to me! It’s really simple but i’ve been enjoying it too!
Blows my mind every time I walk through it
That’s exaaactly how I feel!! And omg hahah srsly tho!!
@@CozyK also I'd highly recommend Florence on Switch too if you haven't played it. It's a very short interactive story but the art style and music is just 😍
little nightmares is what got me into gaming... i cried at the end of the 2nd game😭
Even her voice and the way she speaks define cozy
If you haven’t already, you should totally play Florence it’s really short but it’s so cozy, very cathartic and the music is so beautiful
ahh i definitely will, it sounds so cute!!
Have you played Yonder that was really cosy for me. (It has cats too)
I haven’t! But it’s high on my “to try” list!!
i can never get over your outfits they're always so gorgeous omg
awww thank youu! and omg peppa pigggg, lolol i love thattt!
Luigis mansion, botw, and acnh are my favorite cozy games so far!
Omg running to the eshop! That sounds right up my alley!
Oh! I recommend AER Memories of Old! It's basically just an exploring game where you're this character that can turn into a bird, fly from sky island to sky island, fly through the clouds and learn about the culture that once was with the people that lived there before the world got turned to sky island! There's 3 temples that's kinda puzzle ish, but that's really it, as far as I know
Idk I just really like it, it calms me more than animal crossing new horizons, bc in acnh I have to stress about debt
My coziness of games is something crazy very much action
i just got a switch lite for my bday and i love the cozy feeling it brings. i have a ps4 that i use for my action packed gaming, but when i’m holding my switch i just feel so warm and cuddly 😅. i’ve been trying to find more cozy games so this is wonderful. i love your content !
aww yess that's the exact feeling i love!! and thank youu!
Currently playing Spiritfarer and I love it so much! Great list! Lots of my favorites on there. 😉
Omg I've been looking for this for such a long time!!! Love this💕
I just bought a switch to do just that. To lay down after a hard and stressful day and zone out. No pressure no responsibilities
Rune factory 4. The best game I’ve ever played in my entire life, i have never played a game with better developed characters. I can’t recommend it enough. It’s a fantasy harvest moon game like stardew valley but with a greater focus on fantasy.
definitely on my list! tysm!
+1! Played it on the 3ds years ago, and the switch version is amazing, cuddle up under blankets type game
You might as well check out "Yokus Island Express", where you play as a dung beetle who carries a pinball. Has some metroidvania features and ist a really cool combination of jump&run, metroidvania and pinball.
I’m loving your channel!!
thank you!!🤎
I absolutely loved this intro 🥺 my heart is filled 🤎🌾
Watching this video made me realize I am a cozy gamer lmao all the games on your list are my favorites out of my collection!
yayyy welcome welcomee!
A little late to this video but another game I would recommend is Ori and the Will of the Wisps. It is a little on the challenging side but it has beautiful art design and music.
I love this aesthetic
if you like cozy horror games i highly recommend yumenikki - dream diary and mad father!!! i will say yumenikki is a bit overpriced with how janky the controls can be (i think it's like $20) but it's still a really good game to cozy up to, it's really atmospheric and has such a weird, dreamy aesthetic, i still really loved it! there's no dialogue and encourages you to just go through each world and explore it, it's really cool! if you like little nightmares you'll probs really like yummenikki, just maybe try to get it on sale or smthn lol
mad father is also really, really good on the switch! it's definitely creepier in atmosphere imo, but it's not very long and the puzzles are p easy so it's a good one to relax and play. (also they have this super cool filter that looks like an old tv screen so it looks like you're playing an old rpg game on an old tv, and it's the coolest thing in the world)
ooo thank you so much for this! will definitely look into them!
I came across ur channel and cozy gaming resonates so well for me n my experience! thank you for sharing, I immediately subscribed and cant wait to discover new games thru you !

Yoooo I'm a cozy casual gamer and I'm happy there are people out there who like the same things!!!
yayyy welcome🥰🥰
I really like your content so i subscribed gurl!
i was so pleasantly surprised to see skyrim on this list! 💗
I love several of these games! I like both relaxing games like this and action games like Spider-Man on ps4.
I'd like to recommend Hollow Knight as a cosy game 😊
The boss fights can be very difficult, but it's my ultimate cosy game because of the huge map to explore, all the really cute creatures & npcs, and the MUSIC. Omg the music.
Give it a try if you want ❤️ You can get lost in it for hours & it's so satisfying to find new pathways
All of them are so so so C O Z Y !! I just love it! Can you make a video of cozy and aesthetic games for iPhone/IPad?
I have a vid for iPhone games but should def do an updated iOS one soon!
@@CozyK K thanks ☺️!
Glad I found your channel. Hard to find classy female gamers.
My mom, dad, and older just got me a Nintendo switch lite so I'm now trying to find some good games to play and get them later on😇😇
came for the cozy games stayed for the vibes and subscribed :DDD
awww thank u for being hereee :)
You are my kind of gamer!! Yes! All the cosy, feel good, sobbing my eyes out with the beauty type games ❤️
Love your tik toks! So glad you made a UA-cam channel ⭐️
If you want cozy and exploration yet somehow also existentially creepy then Outer Wilds. You are a alien space traveler trying to figure out the mysteries of the little galaxy you're in.
I thought I recognized you from Tiktok! Thank you for making a comprehensive video :)
Thanks for the suggestions. Can you do a video on cozy games for Mac?
will do!!
