Looking at Mike Love & Bruce Johnson I only feel great sadness due to absence of beloved Wilson's. And my we are old now! I saw them in concert shortly after Brian stopprd touring & Bruce filled in. 1968 ??? I was in my early 20's then.
@@Nostalgic90s765 ... he's a decent drummer... a very average guitar player... and sings pretty well. But when he's got the guitar strapped on he mostly puts on a show around the stage. I believe that Mike thinks of him as a prop.
The transition has begun. By the end of the year, the band will be called John Stamos' Beach Boys. Love's son will fight for control, but Stamos' costume changes, tours across the stage, and his fancy, gold 335 will prevail. He'll fire the youthful drummer and take over all aspects of percussion, singing, and duties of 4th rhythm guitarist. All hail.
They sound like they are in their but I toots give them credit but Mike is losing his voice I never consider the Beach boys the Beach boys without the person who is wrote all the songs that they are singing except maybe one Kokomo so Brian Wilson should’ve been there but he’s not in the best shape either. Let’s face the fact they’re getting old. We’re all getting old.
@@The_Original_Alex_Channelthe problem with Mike is his EGO! He did co write many of their hits..But unlike humble Carl & Brian, he simply acts like a jackass!
Mike Love and Bruce Johnson: AMAZING for being in their '80's!!! Keep on keepin' on!! (and John Stamos: GREAT!) - great band, thanks!
I been watching John Stamos as a teenager on General Hospital in the early 80’s.
I was 15 years old and he was 18 years old.

Bruce started in nineteen sixty five .
I never been to a Beach Boys concert and I never saw John Stamos perform on stage live.
Where is John Cowsill??? He made this show
I believe this is at Meadowbrook in Rochester Hills Michigan? If so, I was there and it was July 5th Friday.
Yes. I must have put in the wrong date on accident.
Do you have the unedited whole show filmed? I would love to have a copy since I was there.
Unfortunately no, these clips are all that I recorded.
Stamos is nothing more than an ornament onstage. He rarely plays or sings. All show and no go. He is not a Beach Boy.
He drums for somewhere around 10 songs
@@The_Original_Alex_Channel ... not a big deal.
@@buzz71544 lol. He clearly is doing a lot in these videos.
@@Nostalgic90s765 ... yup... he was vital.

The beach boys are already booked up for the strawberry festival in april two thousand twenty five at the state fair gronds in tampa😊
How can you still call them The Beach Boys with only 2 original members left in the line-up?
Because there's two not just one, beach boys not beach boy 😮

Well to be fair, Mike Love wrote a significant amount of lyrics for The Beach Boys.
