Would you recommend people to get into this profession now in 2021? I’m looking into it and its very interesting but I don’t want to get into the wrong thing
@@juliawhite7152 so getting the proper education to pass the board exam can be difficult. The work itself isn't very challenging once you have some experience.

@@sydneysinclair1239 have to find a company that will want to train you. Most companies want a degree in science of some type. Really hard to get into the field unless you know someone that does it and will vouch for you honestly. That's how I got in
I've been trying to get into this career for over two years. It's hard to get in person training if your not already working as one and you cant get a job as one unless you receive in person training🙄

Colleges offer it. I start at Purdue in the fall.
Also lots of companies offer training. SpecialtyCare hires total newbies but expect to move and expect a low starting salary.

Here in Utah EEG techs start out at between $53,000-$60,000 with one year of school. I’d recommend Labouré or END institute if in Utah
