Like you said he didnt get to choose which NPB team he'd play for (yes he still needs to agree to sign), but many other players who didnt play for a big market high school like Ohtani, still wanted to play for the dodgers. Roki has said that he and his father's fav team in MLB was Dodgers. No one knows where he wants to go but saying that simply because he didnt play for a big market team means he wont choose the dodgers is stupid.
