At 2:49 , don't you think that the partial derivative matrix , should have d_xy and d_yx in each other's position .

Yes, I think that you are correct and the matrices in the video should be transposed. Thank you for pointing this out. 🤗 For the further analysis this is not important though, since a matrix's transpose has the same eigenvalues.
