Hey Austin. I would just like to say that you are a huge inspiration for me(I'm a 19 year old indie developer from Ethiopia). Listening to your Music has honestly given me the motivation to start learning and making music for my games. Thank you for sharing your work.
@@awintory Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. I can't wait for more of your work to admire. I hope to get the chance to work with you one day.
Thank you so much for sharing some of your scores ! It's really enriching as an aspiring composer and as you may know very difficult to find for most films and videogames...
I’ve had a spotify playlist for years now exclusively of AC: Syndicate combat music. There just isn’t really anything else like it that I can find, both violent and elegant. Would love to see A Gauntlet Scherzo at some point.
This is stunning! ... and I had a question for you, sir since I'm a one-man studio working on an animation I was wondering what could be the best approach for music composing? Because that's the one part I can't handle my own. How much scoring a 40 min animation is going to cost by that approach(talking about a high-quality job)? And music is something that I tend to go "all in" for it ... the one element I don't want to cheat on it ! .... I'm asking this from different composers.
Good luck on your animation! Hugely ambitious project! And honestly, it's impossible to offer estimates. We always try to determine things like 1) How much music? 2) What sort of music? (solo piano or synth, thru giant epic orchestra ... they have big cost implications) and of course 3) what is the composer charging for their time? The result is that scores can range from anywhere from $0 (at cost, or backend points only or even simply as a gift) through to many hundreds of thousands of dollars, or more.
This is incredible! Thanks for putting these out there, great resource for us getting into composing ☝🏾Also I never connected the dots that you were the same Austin as on “Play, Watch, Listen” until today! Lovin your stuff man.
This is such a great series, especially for those of us trying to learn to play the melodies stuck in our heads. Thank you so much - but also, I BEG you: please do one of these for Danza alla Daggers; I've been failing to transcribe the main violin melody by ear for weeks.
The AC Syndicate music always seems so rythmically complex, especially the battle themes. This here makes it easier to understand, thanks!
I love it when music draws pictures in my mind, even of places I've never been to.

The Syndicate soundtrack is the reason that I start playing video games. The images of industrial London and combat scenes in the music are so vivid!
Syndicate soundtrack is something else!
This was the soundtrack where me and my sister first heard of you, and its still one of my favorites.
Sometimes I play the game just because of the soundtrack 😅
Oh God, oh God, I've been waiting for that song! Thank you a lot!
"Smug bastard..."
Hahahaha. My favourite track from the game. Thanks Austin for composing such an amazing memorable soundtrack :)
wow!
As an aspiring session flutist, this is really awesome and inspirational to see and hear!
This is sawmill gravy for the ears🔥
Yess!!! Amazing as always!!
So complex, so awesome. I love this piece.

Appreciate the suggestion!!
I love listening to the soundtrack of this game, it is an inexplicable feeling.
I would like to be part of a soundtrack in the future. :)

Stay tuned... :)
I honestly thought it was Sara Andon in the original recording as well...sounds so much like her🙈
Dem triplets
I'm getting some Abzu vibes from this one.
Haha really? That's surprising to me but cool! :)
@@awintory More toward the beginning than later on. It sounds like swimming with a school of potentially dangerous fish, like baracudas.
