At some point people have to stop just marginalizing curry greatness as only a pg, but as a basketball player! Stop minimizing his greatness to only 1 position.. he’s the most (exciting) athlete i personally have ever seen. He’s in my top 5 alltime & if he can somehow get another championship i’ll have him behind mike as the number 2 greatest player ever. No disrespect to any of the other greats! But we never saw any player like him & we will never see it again!
This is patently false. Steph is not a point guard. He is a shooting guard who brings the ball up the floor and sometimes initiates the offense. Just because he is the size of a typical PG and GSW has not had a true PG on the floor, doesn't mean you can refer to him as a PG.

Curry's my favorite player today. I do think he is 2nd to Magic though. A very close 2nd. I think if Curry gets 1 more championship along with the FMVP, the argument for GOAT PG will be stronger. I'd put him as 1st if he did this for sure.

He’s the greatest shooter ever. What does that have to do with being a PG. there’s easily 30 players that are better Point guards than him.
Whatever style of play he's playing, he still plays the pg position and he's the best at it.
