How to lengthen the pattern of a sleeve

If you are taller than average, your sleeves will often be too short. You can correct this by lengthening your sleeve pattern. You can easily do this yourself. To do this, cut the pattern horizontally at two points. Slide the pattern pieces apart and add so many inches that the length matches the length of your arm. Make sure that you extend the lengthening equally in all the pattern parts of the sleeve, sparing the elbow line.
