We all need to be reminded of the dangers of human depravity periodically. God was no respecter of persons with King David, Moses, or King Uzziah. The consequences were costly for pride, selfishness and pleasure. We are all vulnerable. Moses warned us to "fear God" - (Deuteronomy 8:6), so did Solomon (Eccl 12:13), so did Peter (1 Peter 2:17), so did Paul (Philippians 2:12). Thank you for that reminder, brother Dennis! Let's "run with endurance" (Hebrews 12:1). By the grace of God, let's finish well!
