they didn't change, Wrio was never there to begin with
speculations =/= leaks
Based on previous patterns, Wriothesley was supposed to rerun in 4.8 since he is the only early released fontaine character that still hasn't had his rerun yet, and as stated in the video, usually the early released characters of a region, always get their rerun before the next region begins.

It was a speculation based on previous banners, even the leakers speculated that wriothesley will rerun, but since this is not the case anymore, that is the reason why i made this video, to update everyone who thought that wriothesley will rerun in 4.8.

Neuvillette got a rerun before lyney so navia getting a rerun before Wriothesly is not too surprising

one hand i'm glad since 4.8 is gonna be another summer event so I'll get enough funds to maybe c2 him but I'm just so impatient... WHERE IS HE
I got Shenhe last year but couldn’t get Yelan because I had to get Zhongli, so yes I’ve also waited a year to get Yelan now. But luckily, I got Wriothesley by accident when building Pity for Raiden 😂 and I love playing him more than Raiden lol
Whew. Silver lining: more time to save for Wrio and/or Shenhe. But let's be honest, Wriothesley isn't that top tier when it comes to damage.
he's good. just got overshadowed by neuvi who's broken.
@okemimi yeps, he also has one of my more fave playstyles; deploy supports, then activate skill and spam normal attacks. Not much combos needed. So, waiting for his rerun for either C1 or weapon.

I wasted 40 wishes on that banner and I’ve been waiting for it to come back
It will come back for sure, we just don't know when exactly. Version 4.8 would technichally be a great time to bring the banner back, and if not in 4.8, then in 5.0 for sure.

Yelan has a rerun on next chronicle banner along with ganyu childe shenhe qiqi and probly keqing
Wrio is gonna be on event banner

That's what the previous banner prediction was, but now Yelan got moved to be on the event banner and wriothesley's next rerun will most likely be in 5.0 or 5.1. And about the chronicled wish, we don't know anything about that yet but it would make sense if it comes back in 4.8
