When hotels in NYC were open (seems so long ago) I constantly booked seats as a Luxury Hotel Concierge at JALC for the best jazz entertainment for all travelers from all parts of the world. The most enthusiastic guests were from abroad where Jazz THRIVES. The weekly jazz jams were also a major hit. Thank you Mr. Marsalis for returning NYC to its highest from of music with CLASS and DISTINCTION. I pray that we will see all venues OPEN again SOON. Its our heritage

Tremendos músicos en esta formidable big band estable del Lincoln Center, ahora que pena que el contrabajista con lo que toca el instrumento tenga tan feo sonido, sin sustein en sus notas que suenan ‘pum pum’, sonido corto ergo sus líneas de bajo son ‘cuadradas’ como es posible, porque no es el único gran contrabajista escuchado por mí, que al haberse iniciado en el estudio de tan hermoso instrumento no le haya dado preponderancia a lo más importante que es el SONIDO! Un contrabajo no es una Tuba. Lo digo con todo respeto.

Helen Sung is crazy man. I saw her play with the Mingus Big Band at the Jazz Standard a couple months ago and I was blown away.
