Not only do you need to have an excellent understanding of a game's physics, routes, and tricks, like any other speedrunner, you also need to physically move quickly, with your arms and head and such. When I got to the top of the pillar I had no gun so I had to climb up the smaller pillars where the big orb is and grab it then beat the shit out of it to acquire that avatar.
I haven't tried it personally but......is that red button on the ceiling at 36:03 supposed to push the ball down? If so I think that might be a potential time save
when you struggle smashing the boneworks box for a few seconds you can shave some time by shooting the box through the little window gap with your shotgun
and the part after where you spend time to get the ball over the bridge and then under it, as the heavy you can quickly lift the bridge up enough to toss it to the side to get the ball to the bottom instantly
See if I speedrun anything I like the idea of an NMG one, because it feels like the glitches are: 1. Too inconsistent since it's physics based & 2. It's just not as fun as finding the fastest routes through each level
i found this out while playing the game, at the train section you can throw a vending machine down there and itll stop the train so you dont have to duck under
36:45 theres a way to move the bridge so you dont have to go all the way to the other side with that heavy ball, moving the bridge will save u some seconds
When in the lava just area just a tip for whoever, make sure you throw them into the actual lava and not one of the platforms down below. If they land on the platform they seem to survive and use the jump pad things to get back up
This is actually impressive 👍 One thing I would say though Is that you could have skipped 50% of the game in 10 minutes I take at least 3 days to finish the game 😅
I found a way to open the door on level 4 you need to crouch down and put your hands under the door while walking with your head in to the door as well note if you put your hands on the track you will start to stretch out and need to slow mo or crouch down to get out of it but when you stretch out you can pass through walls.
30:06 How are your monogon motorway laps so fast? My kart drives half that speed at full throttle and I get 2 minutes on a perfect run. Is there a boost button I missed?
Does the part where you collect avatars take slightly longer if you move away from where you popped the bubble, because it dosnt seem to end until the animation for the avatar going to the bodymog finishes. That if all that matters is popping the bubble then nevermind, but I think it might add time whe you move from where you popped it, I could be wrong

Helpful tip: Sprinting sideways is slightly faster than sprinting forwards. It's just hard to do well, as you can't really see where you're going.
I highly doubt that will be a issue in the pursuit of a world record

It does it launches the ball into the tunnel and when I pressed the button I was in the crossfire and got knocked down the tunnel
