The burger seller asked you "satu" which means one in Malay, then you said "two" which sounded like "satu". There you go for the miscommunication. Haha
Haha yupp! Got myself there. Well, lesson learned haha
@@Reardon_Exploresit's OK we can learn anything... Small problem.. Whatever thanks to visits Malaysia My Country..
Yes eating ramly burger / malaysian burger means enjoy the mess 😆😆
The 1st one you ate wasn't Ramly patty. It's probably just a crispy chicken fillet. Ramly's usually grilled not fried.
Ahhh, really? Okay. I wish it was the Ramly beef patty but it was interesting to try nonetheless. Thanks for letting me know!
Ramly is usually fried. Not grilled.
@@thetruth3462 Now, I know for next time!
@@Reardon_Explores do like other smart people do when they come and visit a different country...check them out...do a bit of research...silly me...check UA-cam for information duhhhh
Don't be surprised by the fireworks. That happens every festive season in Malaysian..not just during ramadan. Ramly burgers always use ramly patties. The crispy patties are not ramly brands. The trademark of ramly burger is to wrap the patties and cheese with egg depending on what you order. Ramly burger is supposed to be sloppy.
Fireworks sure are a great way to celebrate and add some color to the sky. Ah, ok. Next time I'll know for sure which one is the real Ramly burger. Thanks!
Happy belated birthday, wish you spend a pleasant trip in Malaysia
Thank you! I will be back soon
Great to heard that! Can't wait to see you soon 😊
you said "two" but the seller dont speak english i guess and confirmed with you "satu(one)?" which sounds like two. it's very rare that local don't understand basic english, maybe he is a foreign worker
Maybe! Maybe from Myanmar or Indonesia or something. Not disappointed because the chicken was good
bodo gila..basic English pun xtau..😂
Thanks for sharing this wonderful video n for showing your explorations in KL. Hope that u have had a lovely b'day. Nice food for your day, Ramly burger, brownies n cheesecake.
Yes, everything was great! Thank you and thanks for watching! :)
@@Reardon_Explores 😄
the confusion at the 1st burger stall, when you said two, maybe the boy heard "satu" which means one.. lol
by the way, the chicken crispy patty wasn't ramly. at least as of now, ramly did not produce crispy chicken patty.
it was an immitation of KFC's Zinger burger..
burger at the 2nd stall was the actually ramly patty. and how she cooked it, was exactly how you should experience our local burger.
you can always ask them to put less sauce (tell them 'sos khoo rung') to make it less messy & sloppy...
since you commented about the night traffic, it only happened because eid is around the corner. as you mentioned in the beginning of the video that it was friday night, that was the right time to shop. weekend. nightime. not hot. not fasting.
thank you for buying the cakes as well. from the quick conversation, seems like they are raising funds for some kind of NGO's for orphanage or veterans house...
by the way, happy birthday
Thanks for the tips! I'll have to remember them! Ah perfect, I went at the right time. Yes, I think that might be why they are selling them. I hope the money helps out and the sweets were tasty.
Thank you! 🙂🙂
My opinion you are a positive person...they way you describe and said about something you mentioned it in positive ways...even when you saw rats...🤭
One more thing ramly burger were always grilled not fried...the second burger you ate was really a ramly burger...definitely ramly burger..
In Malaysia liquor prohibited to be taken publicly...
Yes, I try to see the good in things, even if they have lots of negatives. Sometimes it is hard. Right about the burgers. I noticed I confused myself with the first one. Just a street chicken sandwich. I like the control of alcohol in Malaysia...to be honest, we don't really need it but we live with it
The second 🍔 was a different eggsperience 😏
Abang - (Elder) Brother
Jambang - Bearded
➡ 'Bearded Bro Burger'
Hahahah 😂 perfect! How interesting! The Bearded Bro Burger, I like it!
Happy Birthday to you!Hope you and your lovely partner will enjoy your stay here in Malaysia🎂 I think you’ll like the beaches, go to langkawi..
Thank you! Definitely going to figure out a way to come back and explore more! :)
You said two but then he replied satu?which means one. Two and satu sound quite same lol. By thre way the first burger that you ate is not ramly burger.
Oh, dang! Didn't catch that "sa" part and only the "tu". Well, in that case, sure was my fault! 😂 I have heard now that it is just a fried chicken sandwich 🙃
That 2nd burger looked the deal. Anyways, happy birthday and welcome to Malaysia, the land where no tourist should go hungry coz there's just so much food to be had. Lol!😂😂
Right?! It was quite delicious actually! Need another haha. Thanks!
Hi there, just saw your video. Just fyi,the area you stayed is predominantly Malay so its a bit hard to find alcohol there unless you go to Bukit Bintang area. There is also a row of bars next to Sheraton Hotel (if I'm not mistaken).
And the green vegetables there is called Petai (stinky beans). While all the closed stalls at the road side are actually the famous Kampung Baru Ramadhan Bazaar which is usually opens from 430- 7 pm during Ramadhan.Hope this helps.Oh and Happy Belated Birthday
Ah yes! You are right. That is the Row next to Sheraton. It is ok because the food made up for the no alcohol and my lack of research.
Yes! The Bazaar is near there and I’ve been a few times already. Will have a video about it soon. Thanks a lot for info and wishes! :)
Sorry i no spik inglih... Terai masak kan kampong...pula .. pasti sedap
Always delicious!
The Ramli burger kid was asking you a back.. Chrispy cheese satu? and you said yes.. lol. Perhaps you heard saTWO, which in Malay 'satu' means one. lol.
Hahaha yes, that is exactly what happened.
Happy belated birthday 🎂🎉😅
Thanks a lot! :)
The teens sold you chocolate moist 🍰. I believe the 🍰 was home made, either by the teens family or presumably by their single mother. May the Almighty blessed you for your kindness. Don't feel bad for them because they approach you to sell their chocolate moist cake. The family have to make an honest living, despite high cost living in the city 🏙️.
Well, it was pretty tasty, so we enjoyed it. Glad to help out when we can. :)
Best burger in the entire world ..
Honestly!!! So delicious!
Hi when you recently arrived in KL does the Airport make you take a covid test upon arrival?
Thanks
No. There is no need for COVID testing upon arrival.
You look like Jamie Dornan, that 50 shades actor.
Never saw the movie or actor, but I look them up haha
The fireworks on your birthday! Happy Birthday & enjoy KL 🎊 🎉
Just perfect, right?! 😝😎 Thank you! :)
is this another channel of matt reardon? both look alike
Yes, haha. I have two of them. One from my travels in Latin America mainly and one I started in Asia. This one is more of a creative one with more editing usually.
Happy birthday! Hope you had a great day 🙂🥳
Thank you!! I did! :)
The bazaar was probably quiet and empty because most of malysians are muslim and they were probably at the mosque nearby performing taraweeh.. thats why
I think so
Wow,its hard to believe that u can eat 3 burgers in one night not counting other side dishes that u eat
Hahahaha to be quite honest, this is nothing. Just a few years ago, I could eat 5+ burgers in a day, no problem. 😂
Glad that you like our local Ramly burger
Pretty delicious and much better when it is local
haha mudahnya kau percaya... umur berapa ni dik
Actually you may request for custom which less sauce, ketchup, etc. Sloppy burger is a default.
Actually is called Malaysian street food burgers. The popular version which wrapped with eggs. Ramly brand so popular, so they just call it Ramly burger. You may ask seller, they can show you Ramly packaging for raw patties. Even official Ramly mart don't sell burger with egg wrapped version.
Haha okay. I don't mind it as long as I get some napkins next time haha
ah okay. Good point! I will have to do that! Thanks!
you said two but he made satu which is one. sorry for the confusion
Yep haha. My fault. Now I know! 😝
happy belated birthday
thanks a lot! :)
'Satu' means One and 'Dua' mean Two, there u go
Ah right! My mistake for not knowing haha
Yes sloppy. Including roti john
Oh yes, Roti John. Delicious too!
@@Reardon_Exploresyou can tell them not to put too much sauce
@@penukulbesi4006 Will have to next time! haha
The fart motorcycle kills me 🤣 I am a malaysian and i couldn't agree more. I also couldn't understand why they modified their exhaust like that😅.
Yeah! It is just nonsense...maybe when you are younger it seems cool, but when you get older, you realize it makes no difference 😂
@@Reardon_Explores yeah..it become annoying
Happy birthday, take care and may God bless you..
Thanks a lot! :)
Happy belated birthday
Thank you!
Welcome to Malaysia 🇲🇾 💐 ❤️
Thanks!
sloppy...what do you expect? a steak??
Yes dripping in blood that every time I cut it, it splashes...oh wait...that is sloppy too. (btw sloppy doesn't mean it is bad unless we are talking an intimate situation)
"Satu" means 1 in Malay language...
Next time I'll need to catch that haha
@@Reardon_Explores Im sorry, but may I know if you and Matt Reardon are the same persons? You guys are really look alike.
@@ardentblue7493 We are twins! 😝 jkjk. They are both my channels. I created With the Wind a while ago but It kind of died...so then I started another one while here in Asia (more to be just on-the-go vlogs). Started it with my GoPro and then my GoPro died 😔
@@Reardon_Explores ahh..now everything makes sense!
@@ardentblue7493 Hahaha yeah! I can see how it is strange 😂
The best Ramly Burger stall is located at the end of Jalan Alor and it's called Burger Boss. It has become famous due to the exposure it got from all the foreign UA-camrs that went to try the burger there. Every Ramly Burger street vendor has their own special way in preparing their burgers and some even has their own special sauce to go with the burgers😷😁😷
Oh wow, interesting. Maybe I will have time to check it out. Sounds super tasty and worth it!
@@Reardon_Exploresa, you must try the Ramly burger at the end of Jalan Alor, I was there last Saturday, it is really good.
The 2 burgers you had are not Ramly brand patty because I didn't see Ramly written on their stalls and it was not wrapped with Ramly wrapper. The Ramly patty tastes different, so you must try the "real" Ramly burger. Cheers and enjoy your visit to Malaysia.
And Happy belated birthday to you too.
@@rcBorneo Ahhh dang it. Next time, I for sure will do so. Maybe try 3 burgers across the city (including the one you mentioned). Thanks! :)
That one is not ramly burger patty.
Ah the first one, right.
Happy birthday sir…
Thanks!
Happy birthdaybro
Thanks!
Are you local american or immigrants?
I am US born but I feel like an international citizen more than a US citizen.

It isn't for everyone
belajar la bahasa melayu...
Takes a long time and not necessarily that easy if you only have a few weeks in the country
@@Reardon_Explores , datang negara orang jangan harap la kami nak cakap bahasa anda... anda yang datang melancong ke negara kami bukannya kami yang datang ke negara anda
@@kamarulhisham3203 I am just using global language. If we can't speak the same language, it is okay. We can use body language and that is fine. You don't need to know a language to go to another country (of course it helps and makes the experience better if you do).
Pls don't say something that makes you looked stupid 😅. Not everyone can learn foreign language real quick. We should be grateful that they are still willing to come and travel in our country. At least, English is still a second language in our country. So, there's not a problem to communicate with them.
@@intand5281 , haha pentaksub omputeh dah dtg...
I have never heard anyone set fireworks off during ramadan that isn't the point of ramadan
Not saying that is "the point of ramadan", but the activity so happens to be a part of what people choose to do throughout the day.
They do after mid-Ramadan - not to celebrate Ramadan but more for celebrating (anticipating the celebration of) Eid. They also do it for Chinese New Year and Diwali.
@@sultrys2291 Oh cool! So for many significant parts of the year
