hey really good tutorial, but i have a suggestion for players trying to learn to stall that really helped me start stalling and then almost instantly stall chaining, so the sequence that you teach is jump - jump again - half air roll and then air roll again, and i just couldnt get it in time and the sequence was 4 steps, so i suggest doing jump - jump and half air roll at the same time rather then jump and air roll after the jump. It shortens the sequence to start the stall chain from the ground to 3 steps, and to start a stall chain from the air to 2 steps, hope this helps :D

i didnt know about this but as an alternative method used dunkhouse map or the volleyball in freeplay cos it helps in slightly controlling moving balls

I can time correctly in stalls. But I can't get used to the button sequence . I've tried to say it out loud as I'm doing it, but it still doesn't get in my head 🙁.
Hey Mogz! Good tutorial but the problem is we have to do practice in default layout not our own layout and can you suggest some practice methods to position our car so that we can do stall. I am not able to do stall because I can't position my car perfectly
yeh its a bit of a shame isnt it... dont know why they dont allow us to change button layout.
dont really have any tips re: positioning.. just need to practice more i think dude.
If u go into the hoops map in freeplay u can practice stalls there

The best stall tutorial ever
i can get one stall, but getting repeating stalls to the ceiling is nearly impossible using touch controlls
can you make another stall video but for faster more advanced stalls because no matter how fast i tap my fingers i lose control or my stalls dont look nearly as fast as jelly and other stalls people do.
hmmmm.. i'll think about it. I dont really think i can say much about it though, other than "practice more & do it faster"

I've tried to ask before and nobody can give me an answer but why is my half air roll or any air roll slow? When I watch you or people who stall chain good, the canlr air rolls quick. I just don't understand it and I'm using a custom controller with mouse clicks so makes no sense to me and really has deterred me from getting into stall chains
the speed that your car air rolls is the same for everyone. even if it looks slower for you, its not.. as soon as u press the button it registers as having air rolled
id also add that touch will be faster cos no input lag and no physical button to depress.
I'm going to download Rocket League again, the last time I trained I managed to take the ball up by doing stalls, but I never managed to stall for the goal
