I wasn't aware that Scott even knew who Porcupine Tree were. Colin Edwin and Gavin Harrison are fantastic together. Gotta love Colin's Spector bass tones
I am so grateful that you folks (Porcupine Tree) came to America to play for us. I’ll never forget the show at the Park West in Chicago. Best show I will ever witness in my lifetime.
Sorry, but on watching Chris Maitland on earlier PT incarnations, as a former drummer when I started many moons ago, I just couldn't get into his style. With respect to CM, to me, Gavin is a drummer's drummer. 😀👍

Great that you mention that. Colin's tones are great. Good amount of warmth without losing out on the definition and precision.
i know this guy, he's always smiling.
the most smiling bass player in fact
Colin has such an amazing groove. Great friggin bass player.
See Colin Edwin, Gavin Harrison and Porcupine Tree in the title = instant like without watching.
Ooooommg my two favorite bassist together!!! I love porcupine, it's my root, my land cable, love you both guys 💕 thanks for the magic of real music
Proud to say that I first heard of Gavin back in 94 from his book.
GAVIN FUCKING HARRISON

Scott you're the best of the best
before i opened this i thought Colin was reacting to Colin
Porcupine Tree is an amazing band! I love them. Didnt even know who the bass player was but glad to meet him.
I miss his smile and smooth basslines in Porcupine Tree. :(
Gavin’s the man! He and Colin are the smoothest rhythm section imaginable
Porcupine Tree just don't sound the same without his bass playing. It really was a big part of their sound.
The part about the Bulgarian folk music was really interesting! I'll research about it later
This one's great, thanks Scott!
Gavin is a genius drummer even the late Neil Peart paid tribute to him in one of Gavin books
Which one?

@@simonl1785 thanks mate, i just looked it up and hope to get a copy!
Owwch! Terrible audio for Colin, sadly, but fun little interview!
I put a like before I even start to see the video
Great explanations Colin ;).
I should shave my head also. It looks like that's what I'm missing in my playing
Its called being bald

do more of those really interesting interviews.
Scott, you should do one episode with Pablo Della Bella (Ricky Martin). He made ton of things to get there and he is also an excellent player.
Colin please give Steven a call and work on a new Porcupine Tree album
He's not in Porcupine Tree anymore. Now Steven play bass is PT.
They silently kicked him out of the band. A really weird situation and a big shame, because their sound became less interesting as a result.
he can talk !?? and quite a talkative one too !?
What is the song at the end? Sounds great!
Who the fuck dislikes this?
Gavin God Harrison 😁🙌

Meshuggas Thomas Haake. Enough said

Oborowatabinost Not really weird time signatures but yeah crazy drumming indeed
***** Yea, In several parts it almost sounds off though
Yeah he’s brilliant technically and compostionally
One of my fave drummers along with Mr Gene Hoglan and Mr Simon Philips oh and Mr Harrison too
