Hi Wayne... Noticed your missing the Porsche emblem on the front of the hood at the end shots... And i noticed that people have already told you that the number 20 is facing the wrong way on the back engine lid... Also everyone remember that the number "20" is a little smaller for the drivers side then the left side for some reason and it shouldn't be... But also notice that the little light that would be illuminating the door numbers is in a different location on each door... And the green 💚 lens you put in would normally be lit at night ...and each car has a different color so if they can't see what number the car is they can see the colored lens... green... yellow... red... And the wire change in the engine compartment that it listed is because I had told them that its wrong and they are too hard to bend... So i ordered actual scale metal fuel lines to mine to be correct and if you may notice that they didn't do anything with the end of the fire extinguisher hoses into the engine compartment... So i actually made a set of nozzles that are correct out of a couple of spare spark plugs from i think my Ecto-1 build...lolol I also made the helium filler valve by the engine where they filled the frame with helium... Now i actually found that putting the front body on first... then carefully using my tweezers on the vent hoses worked fine and I could line them up exactly where they went... Then the door plate covers are actually suppose to be painted grey like the floorboard or framework and I did that ... Now the biggest change i made was the doors.. These doors have two hinges on both... The real car only has one hinge on each door at the lower portion... So i left both hinges..."but"... I cut out some of the "meat" or thickness of each hinge plus cut a deeper grove where the top hinge hits the roll bar... remember that hinge wouldn't be there really... Then i repainted everything in the correct color and you can't tell... But...this allows the doors to open almost completely vertically up almost forward like the real doors so you can get into the cockpit too do the buttons and assist with putting in the cockpit hoses... Plus if Steve McQueen has to get in and drive...he can now...lolol 🤣🤣🤣🤣 It looks a hell of ALOT better and more appropriate... Also everyone...if you watch Le Man's again... The numbers change on each of the three Porsche's from thin numbers too thicker ones like in this build... But most of the time the number "20" would be thinner then it is... Anyhow I hope this may answer or help anyone in Wayne's world 🌎 group... And there changes anyone can do... Too me this build was never hard...but i did do ALOT of customizing to it and to everyone...if you just take your time its very easy... Don't get frustrated with it or any build... I like taking my time... Wayne knows me... I've been sick... dealing with PTSD and cancer...so I'm taking my time on my builds ... I'm also doing Senna's Lotus too ... I was beginning to wonder when you'd finish this one. I suppose waiting for the final box to come in. Beautiful build! Something I'd never attempt with my tired old eyes. But great fun to watch. I'm always amused when I see so much work going in to placing part that will never be seen again after the build is complete.
Ive yet to finish this Porsche, but i finished the Ford GT, and i got a free display case😁 with my last pack. Im sure u get the same with your last pack😊
I'm on the home stretch with my IXO build. Just solved the problem with the right door. Had a defective body panel. Those air vents: Do you think they could have made that assembly more difficult! The car is beautiful, and I can't wait to finish this and give it to my brother as a surprise gift when he returns from his vacation in the UK. Those decals - I hope whoever designed this build learned their lesson!

Looks lovely Wayne the issues I had with them bloody wires bending putting them in plastic I had plastic connections breaking off whilst bending them bloody wires.
Great to see this iconic racecar finished. It looks awesome, thanks for sharing this experience with us Wayne. Now we need a Ferrari 512, a Lola T-70, a Chaparal.......
Not building this one but just completed the Agora E-Type, excellent looking model and zero problems with attaching bodywork. Also excellent news, Pack 21 of the Enterprise D arrived this morning and so I have brought the build to date out of storage, dusted it down and ready to recommence.
No doubt out of all the cars currently built in the workshop, this one ‘pops’ like no other. The pictures do it justice but it really looks good when you see it up close.
Great model, the 917 Porsche is my favourite race car. I've been to the Le Man's 24 hr race many times. My only problem with all these models is the pathetic sound effect. I've seen 917s race a few times and they sound magnificent.
I completely agree. I didn’t fit the speaker. Instead I fitted a 3.5mm jack socket in the base of the car, and can now connect it through my HiFi system getting that nice deep bass rumble and raucous scream! Think you could do that to any of the builds.
Great to see it completed. You were also building the IXO 917KH but I haven’t seen any vids on it for some time. Well done for not trying to show the full installation of the air ducts. They were absolutely awful. As you noted I resorted to partially detaching the front floor pan, if I didn’t I think I would have had a heart attack! Whoever came up with the installation of those using rigid ducts needs medicating, because they were clearly mad! Mine also complete and taking pride of place! Mine a 2 year build! Completed last month!
Wasn’t happy with the support rod for the rear canopy... when raised the canopy was very unstable So cut 10mm from the length of the rod which cleared that problem up
Looks great Wayne I'm currently working on my 3rd package ( distributors). Dodge Charger isn't to far off, should have that finished around January. And Eleanor I'm working on some custom exhaust and a steering stabilizer boot ( flexible straw). Along with about 30 or so 1/25th plastic models.
Great job. On the last stages, this was super helpful wish I would have looked before I swapped all those stupid hoses! What are your thoughts on the DeAngostini GT40? I’ll check your build next. Looks a lot less expensive than this is. Any good?
Hey Wayne - is the rear # 20 decal on the engine cover back to front? Shouldn't it be read from the rear on a 45? Which it also is on the Agora website.
I just finished my build, and I was wondering if you are using those support mounts we got during the build that go under the chassis as part of your display? On my model they really don't fit all that well with the skirts.
I just finished connecting my air ducts. "Hard work" does not come close! That took me nearly 3 hours! I came close sooo cutting the hoses so that the ends were just out of sight, but I managed to get them in. I did have to glue in the left hose as it kept falling off the lug. But my God. I'm still sweating writing this! I have to take a break. I don't drink, so its Root Beer time! This could have been designed better!
I started subscribing to these models but I hated the fact that it comes in stages. There are people who are willing to pay the full amount to get everything at once.
I wish AGORA or IXO or CENTAURIA or ... whoever made: Bugatti EB Lamborghini Diablo VT in metallic purple Jaguar XJ220 Porsche 959 Porsche "Yellow bird" and a new version of the Testarossa because the Pocher model is not good at all!

Hi Wayne...
