Because "reviewers" criticised the "presentation. "
Efootball is made mobile users in mind so everything is watered down to meet the minimum requirements of smart phone's performance. And smart phones are light years behind next gen consoles.
It’s true. It seemed to regress in 2015/2016. Good gameplay in 16 but horrendous menus

They had moving pictures and then stopped in Pes 2017 for some reason
This game had the most authentic La Liga in a game ever. Every team and every stadium is in the game
Then a lot got removed for PES 2014 because EA weren't happy about it. But they'd go and do the same years later

Think about this way. Efootball is made mobile users in mind, and smart phones technology are not even close to PS3 performance in terms of gaming. So everything is watered down to meet the minimum requirements of these devices. It's a sad time for football gamers, no real simulation football games.
@@Mrnobody619 It may be interesting to see if 2K get the licence for FIFA. If they do a great job it will make others sit up and take notice but I'm not holding my breath.
Its not only konami. It's all the companies. By focusing on more and more profit, they're forced to deliver sub par products. Meaning it's only gonna get worse. Good grief!

Not really. Their movements are way too sudden, especially when they turn. Unless you are comparing with FIFA that is.
The AI is better in this game, players have got different heigth on replays... It's always sad to see that some stuff was better 10 years ago, laziness took over football games.

This video inspired me to go back and play PES 2016. I’m having so much fun. I didn’t realize how many licenses PES had back then. I’ve only been playing PES 2016 lately. Not even touching fifa anymore. I’m a PES fan from now on. It’s an actual football game where you can actually play football. Not a pinball machine giving me a headache. Thank you TTB! I’m a part of the PES family now.

Im still playing pes13 to this day. Slap on the latest patch and its just as enjoyable as pes 2021
What patch do you use? I tried looking for a patch for pes 10 but nothing seemed to work, would love to go back and play with all the kits on an older pes.
@@b-rad7799 just look up elstrix nino on youtube. I think hes got the best patch by far. But for my prefernce i did remove the custom hd pitch cuz its sooo green my eyes hurt

A champions league playthrough on here would be nice and visit PES 2011 again too, great net physics in that game.
Also in pes 11 the passing looked very realistic. The ai was dumb though

loved the gameplay of this one. Scoring goals was incredibly satisfying because it felt like you really had to work for them.
Hands down the best football game ever made. 10 years later its still unrivaled.

But fantastic game. Maybe one of the top 5 PES games of the last 20 years. Played the demo, loved it a lot, and bought the full game around 7am on the day of release. Put a lot of hours into this game tbh
Pes 13 was the best pes, especially with gameplay tool.
I played this game when I was still a university student, I played this game to spend my free time waiting for the next class schedule. really nostalgic. the best pes game of all time.

Ah, the ability to import your own faces into players and import sound files of your own clubs chants (if you find them to import). We probably only have 25% left of what we used to have of this game in eFootball. Progress, eh?
Pes 2 got me first interested in pes, pes 3 had me hooked. I know they haven't aged well visually but in their day they were dynamite
Champs league play through is my vote! How is this ai so much more intuitive and interesting than both thr footy games out now,? This was more fun and immersive than our current generation games

The undershorts and sock tape colours in the newer PES versions do always match the colour in the kit editor for the team. If they don’t match its because whoever edited the kit forgot to change it

Used to love using the analogue stick to fondle the players.
I remember playing this game alot but times have changed , technological advancements shows that the Ball physics on this game is bad now and not up to standard, I think the best konami football games are pes03 ,winning eleven 7 , pes 06 ,pes18 and pes21

what i liked about pes 2013 is that you could actually score from an offside position (tiny one, literally a foot sticking out, but still)

even here, if you play it at 0,25x speed and pause it at the right moment when robben passes the ball around 13:26, you can see gomez is actually off

@@snooty9349 well, i didn't play them much either but a few months ago i picked them both up for pretty cheap prices second hand like 25-50 cent or 1 euro and i played all 3 games a bit and i remeber when a friend had pes 2013 like 10 years ago lol i had situations on those games where it looked like offside too yeah lol
I feel like you should revisit PES 2019.
I've almost completely forgotten about that game, and just decided to try it out again and for the life of me I can't figure out why I didn't continue playing it.
It has good pacing, nice responsiveness, you can even actually get passed players even AI, solid shooting mechanics and the feel is just much better then the newer games.

Funny how the only edit mode features Ricky shows in pes 2013 are the ones still in pes 2021. He should have shown all the different graphic editors like the emblem, sponsor, league badge etc. as well as the stadium editor.

yes i buy it back on PS3 past april...lazio master League in pes 2013, efootball pes 2021, fifa 2001 ans FIFA 22. so 4 lazio carrée mode for Me. 2 in PS4 two in PS3 (FIFA 2001 and pes 2013)
