📜 Video Description 📜
In this video I'm going to talk about the 5 principles of bluffing and why they are so important. When to bluff, when not to bluff, how to bluff and what sizing to use. Bluffing is one of these things that is incredibly difficult to get right. It's like walking a tight rope. On the one hand if you do it too much you end being a spewy player. On the other hand if you don't bluff enough and miss mandatory bluffs you have to make you end up butchering hands. The first one is that the goal of bluffing is not to maximize fold equity. The second one is that if you have a strong range and a weak hand on the river, then you MUST BLUFF. The third one is to bluff with pair draws on the turn, especially on low boards. The fourth one is to bluff river when your air hand has nothing to do with a dry board. The fifth one is to avoid triple barreling with large missed flush draws. We all know that bluffing is an extremely part of poker. Learning fundamental principles, and then adding more and more knowledge to these fundamentals, is of paramount importance. As important as getting value from your best hands and folding hands when you know are beat is, it's as important to learn how and when to bluff.

music vol. makes it harder to hear speech though i'm lovin' the groove
Excellent video Pete. Really enlightening. Made even more enjoyable with the addition of 70’s Porno flick music.
Keep them coming.
Great video Carrot Corner! Love the way Pete talks about poker
Just found your instructional videos - great information and much appreciated
wow im an idiot. i always thought it was better to bluff with blockers to made draws since they'd want to call with made draws but that makes way more sense. To be honest I vastly underbluff because I don't understand it well enough yet and I make money in the microstakes regardless. But I know my EV would should up tremendously if I could bring my red-line up (without bringing my blue line down the same amount) so I'm trying to learn. You've been my favorite training content creator for a bit now, you see poker the way I always felt like a strong player should see it. Makes me way more confident that I'm learning things the right way
Love the format! Music was a nice touch as well
how much do I have to bet for this calling station to fold? is usually how it goes. :)
Throwback to pete's gto phase

can i speak to the manager? this content should be removed from youtube. the content will make the pools way tougher
All that bluffing is nice and dandy, but what i really think about your video is that you have majestic nasal wings.
