Blackpool World Firework Championships are back !!
Synchronised Fireworks to Music
I filmed this weeks display so you could all see how awesome this event is.
I hope you enjoy this video I will be out and about during the next displays although from different angles each time.
Next event date ..... Saturday 25th September ... Team Ireland ... Fireworks launched approximately 8.30pm.
Saturday October 9th ... Team Germany.
Saturday October 23rd, ..... Winners announced and a display from Titanium Fireworks.

Thanks I concentrated on filming rather than photography for this first display, so I wanted the crowds in there too. Maybe next time I will concentrate on Photography and think outside the box x Cheers Caroline

I thought the fireworks were on show last night, and as such I wasn't available to see the fireworks tonight. Ahhh
Good job capturing the show.
May I ask what focal length and camera you used to film the lights from your vantage point?
I'm guessing you were on the comedy carpet as well?

yeah not far from the comedy carpet for this one, will go for a different view point next time.
I use the dji Osmo Pocket which has a focal view of around 50mm.
Shame you didn't see it, my previous video also has the dates listed x

I've never filmed fireworks before so the advice you gave about the camera you used from your vantage point was very helpful. Just googled the focal length of an Osmo and its about 27mm (35mm equivalent). That will help me pick a lens for micro four thirds camera. I've only ever photographed them when the show was on North Pier.
