Thanks guys, wonderful video. Always find I take away a little lesson learned from your experiences!!! One of the most touching elements from me was hearing how much your son's 18th and how is made you both feel. Reminded me that no matter how much my kids frustrate me, I suspect I would miss them just as much! I also honestly don't understand where the online hate element comes from. Please keep sharing the positivity!
Great to meet you Chris at Daly Waters Pub in line at the Beef N Barra. Saw you (Chris) having a sneaky beer 🍺🍺 out the front before dinner but left you be to enjoy your space. We have 3 grown kids and two grandkids we left over 7 months ago to travel so I sooooo get the tears and emotions We were parked up behind you at the pub and have to say your set up is awesome and can’t wait to see what’s next 👏🏼👏🏼 We also walked past your truck at Whippy’s concert in Mataranka the night before and was like whoa that truck is soooo cool and HUGE 🤣🤣 Keep up the great content 💕💕
Having a beer?…Hahaha don’t know what you’re talking about 😜 Lovely to meet you too. Might see you around again. Safe travels and thanks so much for watching 😁🙏🏼
We absolutely loved your Q&A's, sensible questions and really helpful answers by you guys. I liked the question of you doing your exercises bouncing up and down in the caravan, hmmm! that's a new one! 😚, We seem to live very much the same as you...Take care and well done again!😉👍
Awesome, luv u guys & luv the honesty you show and the emotion 🙏👍. MTB Tassie, can’t wait to c it, Tassie is our plan for the start of 2025 for 3 mths with our Van & eBikes !!! Safe travels & keep being u 🙏
Here's some thoughts from us after selling up and taking the plunge. Working on the road is easy if you just look a little. There are so many pages on FB and when we were looking there was up to 10 adds a day. Just be prepared to do the season and you'll be fine. There are so many online courses to help get a start and play your strengths. Great episode guys.
Another great video Guys , never miss them !! Honest and Raw , Learn heaps off you both when i get to do the lap !! My names Lindsay and hope you get to Albany WA one day so i can have a beer with Chris , Legends :)
Hi Guys. So good to see you enjoying WA. Bunbury is our home town and we love it here. Lots of thoughts about this video and the early one as well. I was angry at your response to WA border closures and for a short time refused to watch ADU videos but got over that. There is a saying that is “ west is best” which I think is wrong. It should be Aussie Aussie Aussie. It’s all good just parts are different. We are retired and do a fair bit of caravanning in a Jayco pop top like your first van. We love it and tow it with a Triton dual cab 4x4. We don’t go for long trips because of a health issue that requires regular monitoring but do go to bigger places and some o/n off grid stops. We do most exploring as day trips and that suits us nicely. Have now grown to enjoy your channel and check in every week. We do follow others too, especially the family ones. Enjoy our state especially Kununurra and Whyndam and keep up the videos. Glenn.
Thanks so Glen and thanks for tuning back in. We never had a problem with WA or the amazing people we’ve met. It was all about WA premiers reneged twice on border openings. All good now…it’s history now. Thanks again for watching and stay safe 😁
Hi Team, have been watching you two for a couple of months now. What a great pair. Love your outlooks and honesty, This was a great episode as it delved into the true you (x 2) Great news that you are coming to Gods own country (that would be Tasmania). If you are serious about mountain biking, certainly do the rides at Derby, but set aside a couple of days in the North West and do the WIld Mersey Trail. It starts at Devonport, goes through Latrobe, crosses the Mersey River on a new specially built suspension bridge, carries on to Railton (where I live) and then carries on up the mountain range to the end at Sheffield. All told I think it is over 100KLms. You will find plenty of great camping spots in Tassie. There are many free camps, and a lot that are only $10 per night. (There is one in Railton). The one you cannot miss is Lake Gairdner. You can sit by your campfire and watch the platypuses swim by. Generally regarded by most travelling UA-camrs, like yourself, as one of the best camps in Tassie. Would love to meet you if you get to this part of Tassie. All the best, David
Thanks for watching David…this will our third time back to Tassie. Absolutely love the place and the MTB trails. The Mersey trail is one that we haven’t ridden but definitely on the list. Might see you around 🙌🏼😁
Absolutely awesome episode guys. Love your honesty. We're in SA and you were telling the truth about the weather. It's been horrible the last couple of summers. ❤😊😊
Really felt the emotion for your children, mine are 38 and 41 with 4 grandchildren all in Victoria and i live in Perth and i can relate to those feelings strongly, we are hitting the road soon and cant wait to catch up with them and go traveling with them on the East coast. PS I shared a tear with you guys. Keep up the good work 🙂
I loved this, thank you for being sooo honest awesome, Chris I struggle leaving my kids be it Ray in the NT or Sophie in SA … Incredibly hard 😢 but they love it that Richie & I are travelling, we inspire them they both say. On another note … Richie hates wearing clothes but I hate not wearing clothes haha … I always tell people that I get to see “sooooo much more” of Richie than ever before 😂😂😂 Do Not Change Anything you guys are sooo lovely sooo honest and your videos etc Richie and I find so helpful. Thank you 😊
I’d like to know where you bought your Chevrolet and what type of tray do you have and did the Chevrolet dealer have to put it on a cab chassis or just remove the regular truck bed? P.s. even though I’m currently living in America, I’m from Tasmania too Miriam
Hey David. The truck was purchased from GMSV in Australia. They have over 60 dealers now. The canopy is from Off-road Creative and was installed after purchase. We sold the standard tub
Hats off to you… 13 weeks and I was desperate to see the kids and grandies… love you guys ❤️

Thanks guys. When you're in Tassy, if you see a grey Ranger towing an off-roader that would fit inside your caravan - say g'day.
Hahaha deal 😁
