IBX Foundation Service Scholars Program Advances Nursing Careers for Veterans

Nurses are the heart of health care, but the U.S. is facing a nursing shortage. At the same time, many military veterans are returning to civilian life and looking for meaningful ways to serve their community. The IBX Foundation Service Scholars program addresses both of these trends, with a bold and innovative mission to offer veterans a pathway to a career in nursing.
Although this program launched in November 2023, it is already attracting major attention, including a spotlight segment on Military Makeover: Operation Career which airs on Lifetime Television. Learn how the IBX Foundation is partnering with Thomas Jefferson University to offer financial and career support to local veterans pursuing undergraduate nursing degrees.
