Amazing inspiring speech. Our new motto should be "IT'S WHAT WE DO ". Airborne all the way. Very proud of our heritage, and may God bless our fallen brothers and their families forever.
Proud to have served with him, 1st Lt. Kurilla was my platoon leader as we jumped into Panama in 1989 - he was a solid leader then and clearly is and has been an extraordinary leader over the years since. To you sir, a salute and a hearty "Airborne!".
Let us not forget those men who survived the ravages of war only to lose their lives, not at the hands of the enemy, but by their own hand. These men we failed, also deserve to be saluted. 🇺🇸
Great speech! God bless all our awesome military! Got the awesome opportunity to meet an airborne Sergeant just before Christmas! We all met him as strangers but he left as a lifetime friend! We love and respect our military here in Marion Nc!! Praying for your safe return Sargeant D.H. and all your men by your side! hope to talk to you soon Sarge!!!
Just as this awesome Commander has started in his speech, we truly forget who our real heroes are, no doubt that in my mind and my heart, the real heroes are the ones fighting for our freedom and its cause, they are not these so called actors and singers primadonas making millions, and complaining when you try to get an autograph from them. Just remember this every day.
I was USN (1977-1981) and we were the first and only US presence in the Indian Ocean. WE THE USN feel your pain, God will make everything right. Trust me BROTHERS. When we were needed, we were there, was ARMY, well guess what, we were always there for you also. THERE IS NO RIVALRY, you are our BROTHERS, we Love you just like JESUS told us to. God Bless US ARMY and the other other services. Bobby Estey
3:15...my back hurts just LOOKING at that picture! My last jump, I had 103 pounds of gear on me and in my ruck. Being airborne (in ANY a branch) is a special feeling and calling. There are VERY few that WILLINGLY jump out of a perfectly good aircraft! Semper Fi.
Although I didn't serve in the military, every man and woman that fought or is fighting for are country are my hero's. If it wasn't for are veterans, are soldiers today, and future soldiers we would not have are Freedom that we have today. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU'S AND MAY HE KEEP YOU'S SAFE.
