Out of all the bosses in this game, David Wise didn't need to hit hard with Bashmaster. And yet it is GLORIOUS!!
If I had a nickel for every time Juno voiced a big boss bear in a song, I’d have 3 nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s rad that it’s happened 3 times!
How any of the boss themes or the TF ost in general in this game never made it in Smash is beyond me. I still want a level based on Cliffside Slide with the Snowmads theme. People complain the bosses are too long, but at least they give you plenty of time to appreciate the soundtrack. Don't know what inspired David Wise to incorporate heavy metal into DK for fights against seals and popsicle loving polar bears, but he made the right choice.
One thing I love about this fight is that every time Bashmaster climbs out of the punch, his fur slowly becomes more and more purple because the punch is staining his fur.
If I had a nickel for every time Juno made a cover for a bear surrounded by a purple liquid recently, I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
I like how DK had a look on his face like "Uh oh". Because he's been on the other end of getting his favorite food/snack ruined by another, and he's fully aware that Bashmaster is gonna be madder than any of the Kong's previous opponents.
Juno just never gets bored of voicing gruff bears, huh?
Now I kinda hope we get songs for the rest of the bosses in this game
I love that whole "hear the glacier crash by the master of bash" refrain. It's

I really admire how you managed to take a one-note character with decent aspects and turn him into a character with a defined personality. The whole wrestler-like persona thing works really well and was a really solid and creative choice.
Dang is that art of Bashmaster detailed. There's a bit of a watercolor-like effect to it I think?
