Nice review, thank you. I picked up one of these cheap on eBay thinking I could refurbish it (fungus inside the front element). Unlike the previous 8 versions, this one seems to be 'assembled for life' and there appears to be no way of cleaning the inside surface of the front element without a complete strip, from the rear lens mount forward - disaster waiting to happen with my limited skills. Regardless of the fungus, the results are still very impressive :) so all good.
