Hi Sadie&P. Good to see you both. I didn't start wearing perfume untill my second marriage which was in 1985. The perfume was white shoulders. When I got into my 60s anything I wore made me start itching and watering eyes. I now wear body mist with a very light smell of fruit.
That looks really good, I definitely need a silk pillow case cause i have very coarse and frizzy hair and apparently I should be using one 😅 Purchase of the month no.1 Tilia from Marc Antoinne Barrois, this is a floral and mineral bomb, super sexy blend but for women 40+ I think my first ever perfume i loved was Old Spice, then Brute 😂 My first purchase was ck1 then davidoff cool water, i always enjoy unisex scents rather than too manly or too feminine ones, especially the too feminine ones with white or yellow florals give me a headache. My dad’s side of family is perfume crazy, the perfume genes come from my dad’s side for sure 😅 I used two bottles of dolce and gabbana light blue but the eau intense version and it got me compliments every single time i wore it 😂
I got my first perfume for Christmas when I was 7 or 8. It was that classic 90s brand DATE. I had the Robyn EdT version, and I only wore it when my class had dance parties at school. I can't remember what it smelled like, but I didn't hate it. My mother wouldn't wear perfume every day because it wasn't allowed (she worked with elderly people in a nursing home), but she wore it when she wasn't working and for special occasions. She had a favorite, Magnolia by Yves Rocher (the discontinued version from the 80s, ) It's quite strong but I don't mind it, though I definitely wouldn't wear it myself. My mother also liked Yves Saint Laurent's Black Opium and that one is unbearable to me. Literal headache in a bottle. I haven't been able to find a perfume that is my vibe. I've pretty much given up on it to be honest.
Happy to see you both happy together ❤ keep the love forever ❤
Love seeing you ladies together ❤
the positive vibes you're both radiating is healing, truly. also that dress, 10/10 indeed.
