I understand giving from the heart and not expecting anything BUT where are people’s manners? If you send a gift via UPS and don’t receive any acknowledgment, I think it’s rude. It shouldn’t take 13 months to receive a thank you for a wedding gift. Yes, you have to give with no strings attached but how about a text with TY. (Though I think using an abbreviation is rude too). Show gratitude and say Thank You. My 2 cents.
