Alex, that was fabulous, and it almost goes without saying, so was Angelina. No one, not anyone, can sing My Funny Valentine like Angelina, bringing out all the emotion and beauty of that song.
She is already an artist for the big occasions with e.g. The new FIFA World Cup's official anthem, in addition to several major performances. Like few artists, she has performed for the Nobel Peace Prize at the age of 8 and 17. She is 18 today.
She is one of the best singers in the world, her voice is unique but please do not compare hers to anybody else lets the world enjoy her magnificent voice, presence and humility. She is on Top the World of the Music. Please enjoy one of the best voices ever.
And people wonder why Sara wouldn’t let Angelina sing this sultry 2016 version of My Funny Valentine live until she turned 18. And here she sings it at the first opportunity, just as I thought, but she sure did change the ending compared to two years ago. The horn solo was fantastic also, but dang, that mic stand!

I was honored to see her “live” in Concert. Chills! 7:00 pm show. Her grandma, Mom, sister & other family members were seated at a table in the back of the theater. Awesome concert.

All the songs were good quality considering they were recorded from the audience, especially "One Moment in Time", which was her best performance of the night from what I've seen so far. The video and audio quality were outstanding and not the usual fare we get from cell phone recordings. I've watched Merrilee's video several times on my laptop, full screen, and the video holds up really well. But I'm especially impressed by her performance, which looks like it closed the show and was one of her best ever. That's saying a lot, because she has so many great ones.
You have to remember, this was only the second time Angelina has appeared as the solo artist at an event. The other time was in September in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Every other time she was part of a festival, ceremony, award, or a competition, so these shows were an immense deal for her. If you notice, she’s hanging onto that mic stand and even reaching for it like it’s her security blanket, which I’m sure it was. Angelina was Fantastic in these two shows, but singing is the easy part for her, she needs to hire a coach so she can be more at ease bantering with the audience and get away from that dang mic stand. There is absolutely no bigger fan of her than I am, but I really hope she watches these videos, and realizes just how attached she was to that stand. I don’t remember her being like that in her concerts in the Summer of ‘22, so maybe it was her subconscious dealing with all the pressure she felt due to the enormity of the successful outcome of these two shows. Ticket sales were abysmal and they had to shut down a number of sections of both shows, but that was due to the horrendous marketing strategy of her team. They kept marketing her on UA-cam to the same audience who had already bought tickets, instead of on (at least local TV in Las Vegas) television, because Americans watch television for entertainment not UA-cam. 200 out of 350 million Americans watched the Super Bowl on television, not on UA-cam! Practically no one in the US knows who Angelina is yet, because she’s never on television, if she had been, those shows would have sold out over night. After she sang Unchained Melody at the Nobel Awards, I kept thinking I’d see her on American television singing that version, even if she was only accompanied by a piano, but it never happened. Why? Either her management team is totally incompetent or they’re trying to delay the start of her career as long as possible. If you can think of another reason that makes any sense from a business perspective, please let me know. I have Stage IV Cancer and would like to see her become the superstar she said she wanted to be as a child before I return to the stars.

People need time to save for the airfare, concert ticket and a hotel in Vegas. I worried about ticket sales because of this.. The family have been doing a stellar job so far, but she cannot go much longer without a proffessional promoter and Micharl stick to the management side of things. He can concentrate on seeing everybodies doing their job. Also I really would like her to get a drummer as good as her one in Norway. I hate his brash kick. He does not seem to have the correct sensibility. More suited to a soft rock band of the 70s

In 2 years you will sing before the final of the football world cup in the US in front of a television audience, which will be 15 times that of the Super Bowl. As for holding on to the mic, I agree. She should find the naturalness in which she sang in the famous garage, but it's not easy in front of thousands of people, there for you. However, she did not let herself be overwhelmed by emotion and she concluded her show in a more than excellent way. She is only 18 years old and is a fast learner. For me this is still the run-in phase, and the test was significantly better than the one not long ago in Portsmouth.
I think they are holding back, for she says she wants to attend The School of Julliard. What they could teach her is a mystery, for she to me is a qualified Professor of Music! What can you say, she is a Perfectionist and that is a Great Blessing for us, God Bless!

The entire concert was amazing! I loved the opening Diamonds Are Forever! Princesses of Ruin nailed it for her character and integrity! Just for everyone’s information her black gown weighed 45 pounds so yes she didn’t move to far from her mark and the white gown you will see an assistant come out in some videos to straighten the bottom out so she wouldn’t trip!

Rewatching these videos brings back the emotions and tears I had when I was there! And, I had the good fortune to see her backstage after the show! It was an amazing evening!

I went and Angelina was absolutely beautiful in her two gowns she wore. Her songs were great and she introduced a new song. If I could have changed anything it would be to decrease the volume of the jazz band a bit. Knowing her voice and the words to her songs I still could not make out all her words and for my friends that were with me I felt bad that they couldn't enjoy her talent completely due to the band.
Let me ask you something? Does anyone really care if she ever writes a piece of original music? She basically does that anyway when she deconstructs and rearranges the covers she produces anyway. What do you think?
@@livingLge I’m talking about a full album, not an ep. I have a friend who is getting ready to release an album of about 20 songs that they started on about 15 months ago. He has a million dollar studio in his basement and has written and is producing the album himself with the help of friends who are professional musicians who also have day jobs. This is in Marietta, Ga. Watching what goes into putting an album together is a real eye opener, they don’t use pitch correction or autotune, so if a note is missed, they have to re-record the track just like they used to before autotune came along. Needless to say, if they were paying for studio time, it would get very expensive to record this way. That’s why practically every studio recording you hear is pitch corrected. If a note is missed during recording, the audio engineer manually pitch corrects it to 440hz so it sounds “perfect”. Billie Eilish and Angelina are among the few artists who don’t use pitch correction. That’s why Billie’s song from the movie Barbie is so emotional, it’s beautifully written and sung the same way.
Her voice .. tough like a diamond (Shirley Bassey), soulfull (Amy Whinehouse), it's in own hesitation slow mode (Frank Sinatra). Stunning performace and awesome supporting musicians behind her. (I compare that organization with another great singer in the same age that on the other side of the world has to sing pitifully with just musical recordings ad support . Makes me so sad 😢)
Angelinas singing is relaxt and rafinated as always. I wonder if you have some tecnical isues with your microfon or kontakt with it. It is some soundisues when you speak.

I agree this orchester suite her voice and class much better than the one in New Hampsire. It has a jazz bigband vibe like Angelina have. :)

She has already released an EP of original music, and debuted an original at this concert. She has over 100 songs ready to be recorded.
