Hey team, I figured whenever I do a multi-part build series I'll finish it out with a fully compiled video without narration. Let me know if yall think this is a good idea or not. Below are the links to the original narrated videos if you want more details on the build: Part 1: ua-cam.com/video/XIpofcfr8zQ/v-deo.html Part 2: ua-cam.com/video/K1vaZE3RgbY/v-deo.html Part 3: ua-cam.com/video/l28CvMMbA9o/v-deo.html Full Movie - ua-cam.com/video/adfJMNwI9C8/v-deo.html
I've asked a few people on UA-cam that forge knives and never get an answer. I'm looking for someone to make me a 12" - 6" and pruning knife and also a Clever all matching. I would like them made out of twisted Damascus.and the handles made out of a black handle material is don't need to be the exact price just estimated price ????
I have watched you almost from the start. Don’t remember when I subscribed to the channel but your growth as a knife maker is really starting to show through. Great looking knife and it was great to have watched your dedication to the art grow. Well done.
Great knife! I really like the whole-process summary video to wrap up a multi-video series. It shows me all the stages and how much work has gone into the build while I can go back to the individual segments if I want the details.
Of course I like this format, I'm a fan. Beautiful knife. I found myself pondering over the power tools and what they do and realize they are only as good as the person using them.
You are really stepping up your game man. Love how the handle turned out. Very crisp and clean! Not too fancy either. That’s a blade I would happily edc
That’s probably the best clip blade knife I’ve ever seen. I’m not partial to that design. I prefer a drop point. But having said that, I do believe that is a beautiful piece of work.
As someone else mentioned below. I too have been following you for few years now and your skill has grown exponentially! Keep it up! Also, I’m digging the full build without narration on certain builds such as this one
I like the compiled format as an end to the series. Look at the Tormek KJ-45 Centering Knife Jig it's new. Also I was thinking looking at the finished knife end where it is screwed onto the handle. What if you take and etched a floral or geometric design there?
Man I'm early. Been up all night working on what's hopefully going to be my first folder. (Friction folder, in cpm 10v). Probably gonna get some sleep soon. Gonna watch the full build together before I hit the sack though. Love the videos man 👍
@@RedBeardOps yeah. I'm about to, lol. I sharpen knives on sundays at a flee market for money extra money, but I'm gonna not go today and catch up on sleep. It's been so hot here in Houston business has been suffering anyway, so I doubt I'll loose much money. Anyway. Take it easy, and keep up the great work.
@@RedBeardOps no, there was one of those scam accounts that just messaged me trying to pretending to be you. I reported it as spam, so idk if its showing up still. Edit: not messaging me, it replied to my comment.
Love the Video! Question.. Brass black to darken the etch mark.. As simple as it looks? Anything I should know? Any info would be appreciate! Thank you.
Awesome knife mate. Can I ask what dust extractor you are using when you grind. Id very much like to invest in something you reduce the dust beyond my wet/dry vacuum and a bucket of water
Have you Ever use super glue to glue your handles on I was told by a couple knife makers does it last longer and doesn’t give up overtime like epoxy does
Bet I already have! (2019) - ua-cam.com/video/LEDvjPvm5WY/v-deo.html Lol... you're right though... I should do another.... I've gotten a lot better since 2019

Much appreciated Pat! And thanks for following along with the journey!
Patw999, as a followup, I'm fairly sure this is where you saw the scammer... I've reported their comment. hopefully UA-cam will crack down.
My kind of video. No fluff and to the point. Exemplary craftsmanship.
Thank you!

Thank you greatly Robany! I agree... I think this will be the template I use in the future for long builds like this one.
The blade is amazingly clean and I love the satin finish of this knife.
Thank you greatly HANS!

Hey Anthony, mine is just a shop vac... nothing fancy. I do need to upgrade this one day... maybe when I build a grinding room.
