It's the TI PCM5252 monolithic chip. Fantastic tech and performance specs and nice and inexpensive. These cost US$10.00 a chip which then gets soldered to a board. @@sabresys45
Anyone know if the Rotel A11 Tribute or Mk II has gapless playback with programmed consecutive tracks? I like to listen to specific parts of CDs and if these programmed sections happen to have tracks that segue into one another without interruption, ie. classical music, gapless playback becomes very important. One way to do a quick test is program a couple of consecutive tracks from a live recording and listen for the sound to break up in the applause between songs. Contacted Rotel a couple of days ago but haven't heard back...
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
How is this different from the CD11 Tribute?
New DAC

I just bought the Rotel CD11 Tribute, Now I don't know if I bought the MK1 or MK2 because the one I bought looks the same as the one on this video.
Tribute will have a Tribute badge.
They all run TI PCM 5252 DACS. These cost US$10.00 a piece. Amazing DACS but very inexpensive.@@dexon555
